Many people are on suicide watch & are left to fend for themselves, as was my friend . He was safe if he took his medication, but for reasons only known to himself, he stopped taking them & the rest is history.
You said that people must have gone through some bad trauma to get to that state of mind , or words to that effect . I’m telling you that’s not always the case .
It’s sad to say but there have been an increase in suicides over the last couple of years , mainly due to the pandemic & how it has affected peoples minds . Some of them come as a complete shock to their families, so it’s impossible to detect everyone suffering from depression & what actions people may take . Maybe at the time , the authorities felt he was stable enough to be let out into society, I don’t know . Nobody can really know what goes on in someone’s mind .
Exactly, and blaming the authorities in the media is not the time or the place when you should be mourning your child . The blame game should come at a later stage , not when your son is barely cold .
There are many factors that define a child . Children often mimic their parents behaviour. Eg. If you see violence as a child , then more often than not , you will become violent yourself. The fact that sinead changed religion from Christianity to Islam , shows that there was a part of her that wasn’t happy .
You’ve only heard her side of the story . I’m sure the authorities did their upmost to help the child , but if they are at fault , then I will hold my hands up and apologise.
