I’m assuming you’ve visited those other countries mentioned. As I said earlier , holidaying & residing there are 2 different experiences. I wouldn’t live in the USA or any other country where English is not the first language spoken by the natives .
Ive asked what would be the attraction in visiting the states & you mentioned the Great Depression. Maybe you should study world history & not what happened a few decades back to get an insight to what resilience entails.
I don’t think you realise what resilience is , when you think here in Europe & beyond, we’ve been fighting wars to save our identities for thousands of years . America has been virtually untouched by a foreign invader .
I just can’t see the attraction. It’s has no culture , no history worth talking about & to top it all , it’s full of overweight loudmouths who annoy everyone with their ingenuity & constant attention seeking antics, not to mention foul mouths .
Maybe if America kept its nose out of peoples affairs & stopped its agenda for world domination, then we may have peace on this planet . Blaming others for aggression, when in fact , they are the biggest aggressor of the superpowers.
The problem is , that anyone who is capable of running the country was participating in the illegal gatherings at no10 . Unfortunately, we have to accept that anyone who is capable of leading a country is either a liar , or a/and corrupt!
Not necessarily. Modern technology & engineering methods make it easier to dig further into the ocean more efficiently. It’s Because of the sudden surge in demand , suppliers can’t keep up with that demand, thus causing prices to increase.
The only threat in Ukraine is by nato . Putin will never let nato be in such close proximity to it borders & is flexing its muscles by surrounding Ukraine. There is not an immediate threat to war , but if America doesn’t meet the demands made by Putin, then Russia will invade & destroy any plans nato had to deploy its nuclear arsenal aimed at the Soviet Union . I’m the event of a negotiation breakdown , Russia will use the element of surprise & invade when the west least expect it . America , of course , will not engage in an all out war !
I can’t copy & paste , but if you’re really interested , you can search google. But in the short context. There is a higher demand for energy after the pandemic , coupled with a worldwide shortage of energy , which has caused prises to rise .
They tried killing off the old with covid & now they will kill off the rest in this winter snap by raising fuel bills . This place will be a ghost town come summer !
