The lockdown was not all in vein. The seasonal flu ( let’s call it covid for arguments sake) was contagious enough to warrant more hospitalisations than the average year , thus clogging the health systems with more flu patients than they could handle , leaving patient with serious medical conditions untreated .

Russia will take Crimea, with or without western involvement. Tensions have been ongoing since the pro Russia president was ousted in 2014 . Russia see Ukrainian as a threat , with their alliance to nato & will do anything to halt the threat of their national security.

I don’t know where you get your information from but Boris Johnson’s job is not safe . He is fighting for his political life as we speak & by all accounts, it s a matter of time & the method as to when he will go .
Sometimes common sense should prevail. Novak has got a 3 year visa ban for not being vaccinated, but today your PM has done a u-turn & will revue the situation for him next year . To me , that makes a mockery of your whole judicial system.
The irony that a country that was fundamentally a dumping place for British criminals , is taking the moral high ground in regards to an unvaccinated sports hero .
The most important thing that came out of this case was that Oscar was convinced of murder , unlike OJ Simpson, who did similar but got away Scot free.
I’m just glad that here in England, we don’t have the same dictatorial policies regarding vaccinations in sport as in Australia, who by the way , gain nothing from this petty victory. If you take professional footballers in this country for example, nearly 50% are unvaccinated & 25% of those will refuse to take a vaccine, even if it meant that they would never be allowed to continue applying their trade .
