Yes...i was in an old 19th century mansion in southern England once and the place was definitely haunted.I have heard there are plenty of haunted places / houses in UK

I, and several people, could hear footsteps on the cracked stairs at night.
Also, we were awaken by a spirit standing in the room in the middle of the night.
After a while they had to shut the place down as we had apparently disturbed the spirits living in it.

My take is that ghosts are a substitute for a god. But I don't believe in a god. But I do believe in history. And I think that the more time you've lived in a prefabricated dwelling the more likely you are to believe in a ghost. The spirits rise out of air conditioning, the supernatural comes from the supreme inorganic.

I just felt those spirits were lost and very confused.
But I managed to send them off where they belong.
Then, they never came back!

I've always had this idea that seeing ghosts, aberrations ect..maybe a dimensional interface. We might be even be seen as ghosts in another dimension, could be past or even future, especially where a lot of energy has been occurred.
It's crazy but I got this idea from an old "Star Trek" episode where Kirk was trapped in another universe and kept appearing as a "ghost" to different crew members.
Magnetic fields can alter perception, this has been proven in labs. Houses built on areas where there is a lot of tectonic activity can cause some who have a sensitivity, to see aberrations or what might be an actual interface?
Demons? They exist, all you have to do is watch a few episodes of , "forensic Files" or "I survived". Humans are the real demons.
Ghosts don't scare me but a real living, breathing stranger skulking around my house most definitely would!
