Taino, Yes, the Vast majority of American politicians are extremely wealthy. Money runs this country. period. Anyone that tells you anything else is either naive or filling you full of crap. It's money, money, money. Wealthy Americans represent the majority of tourists. Those are the Americans that you see overseas. Mostly. Oh, sure a guy like me may travel from time to time but the wealthy travel frequently and I'm sure they act like they own the place. That's how they act here to. It's unfortunate that they are viewed as typical.
I think most of the anti-American sentiment comes from folks observing wealthy, arrogant Americans on vacation in their counties. They assume these are typical Americans. The fact is, there is no such thing as a typical American. MOST of the people on my job today were speaking Spanish. Ask SUMMER UK (who has been visiting) about typical americans. I'd be willing to bet her view point is very different (and more positive) than before she visited) Come visit. Then form a educated opinion. I'll buy you a Yes, we have MUCH more than Budwiser here!
I hate the face to face thing. They get soooooooooo mad. Everyone says they hate drama but my ex gf's seem to require it. The phone is safe and saves on my lawn.
