Hi Wikked. Good to see you back. As you know I married and was off the site for 2 years. Things were not as they appeared and I am now back. I see quite a few changes but still like to get involved with the forums as much as possible. We did have some very controversial ones did'nt we? I guess the one I remeber the most was the one for women only. Got pretty rowdy and was pulled.
Glad to hear your good news. Did you meet your love on C.S? Hope to see you more often.
What do you think Cassano is doing? He is crying in his martini each night because he just can't make ends meet on a meager $1,000,000 a month. Poor soul.
What can we do? Continue to pester your government officials from the mayor of your town to as far up as you have to go. As a lady who has been fighting with the V.A. for over 4 years now, yes there are times when I want to say, the hell with it, I an tired of this B.S and let them win, but I will not quit. I also have some other things going on for senior citizens. Can't go into a lot of detail, but one thing I can tell you is if you have a complaint with the government they are slow to react, if they have one with you they want immediate results. If we don't step up and speak in a voice that we can all understand without all the big words there will be nothing for our children or grand-children.
Been freezing all day wrapped in a snuggler, now my temp. is over 101, took tylenol. Good thing I go to the doctor in the morning. Sweet dreams to all.
I Am Gemini....... Free thinking and intelligent, you will not find me under rigorous management. You may think you know me well. then my other half over you, casts a spell.
Hi all my great CS pals. What is your life like today? Besides the normal everyday, pee, shower, etc., etc., here is what has happened with me so far. It has been raining, like a downpour is what I'm talking about since earlymorning. The mechanic came to get my vehicle, drove it and then I will call him in about an hour to see how bad he is going to hurt me. My lunch was delivered to my door, very good by the way. Went in the foyer to get my mail. Took my laundry to the inside laundry room. My groceries and meds will be delivered at 5:00P.M. All of this with the rain coming down in buckets and I never had to step outside. What a great life.
Haven't read this one in a few months as I have not watched the movie for awhile, because I have a soft heart and some things in the book and movie anger me. I lived between 2 reservations and have witnessed many things that are not very pretty, from both sides. Anyway, back to the book, Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee---- author Dee Brown. Would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in Native American culture. I t is about how the U.S Government broke promises, treaties and provoked massacres from 1860-- 1890. The end tells of slaughters of Sioux prisoners at Wounded Knee, So. Dak. which was then considered the end of Indian wars.
I also, like Kansan, can never read Old Jules by Mari Sandoz enough. Probably because I spent many years in the sandhills on a ranch. This is a book that you will want to read over and over if you are interested in the lives people led, hardships they went through, what they men had to do just to find a wife and yet there were also happy times. I wouldrecommend this book to anyone.
I met one person from CS. He is from Australia and I talked to him for quite sometime before meeting. He was here in the states last year and spent time with me and my husband(now ex). He is my best friend and when we met there were no surprises, he was exactly as I thought he would be. We still stay in touch via the computer or phone. I did meet a guy on a different site, met, married by Native American standards and our no longer together. Had nothing to do with the site he was on or his nationality.
My Story Of Love To Go With Your Beautiful Words Galactic
I lay next to you, being ever so quiet as I gaze at you lovingly while you sleep. I see just a small spot of fudge on your bottom lip. I lean over to lick it off ever so carefully. You begin to stir and I say, do not wake my love as I just want to breath in all of you as you sleep. For my soul tells me we have all eternity to be lovers.
Thank you Galactic, I don't say this often as sometimes it is even difficult for me to understand, so how can I expect it of others. But I have a love for photographing old barns that are in bad shape. Then I go inside and just close my mind and let the barn talk to me, sounds crazy I know. But I end up with some great short stories that give this barn back the life that it once had.
I was married to a Native American for 2 years. Had a beautiful pipe ceremony. We burned our flesh offerings about 2 months ago, which is the same as divorce, and went our seperate ways. My spirit was broken, hence the name I use, although it is on the mend. I loved this man very deeply, but our split had nothing to do with his being Native. Although living near 3 reservations I see a lot of pure hatred and believe it or not in this area a lot of that is among the different tribes themselves. I truly wish we could all see past color and accept each person for what they are, but unfortunately I don't think I will ever see it in my lifetime.
Galactic, Such deep sadness and yet love. I feel a man who feels lost but reaches out his hand, I see her across the sea reaching back for his hand, they touch, they embrace, they look deeply into each others eyes and then the soft warm kiss as the waves posses the new found lovers.

To make the right choices in life, you have to get in touch with your soul. To do this, you need to experience solitude, which most people are afraid of, because in the silence you hear the truth and know the solutions. by: Deepak Chopra
Snow White saw Pinocchio walking through the woods, so she ran up behind him, knocked him flat on his back, then sat on his face crying, " Lie to me, Lie to me"
What is long and green and smells like pork? Kermits finger.
I forgot to mention one couple did have a small child and they said as soon as the child was old enough to understand they would be honest about mommy and daddy's relationships.
I just watched Tyra and it was about open relationships. I am from the old school I guess. Most were married or together for several years and decided the bedroom was getting a little stale. Too me and remember this is just my opinion. They were not in love enough with the one they were with to explore and bring some fire back in to the bedroom or kitchen or den or wherever.(LOL) Not for me at all. When I love it is completely for only that person and manage to keep things a little romantic and spicy.
