While I don't think its the owning of the gun that is the problem, I do think people feeling hopeless and desparate is. If people do not get the proper help to deal with some of their mental issues that drive them to kill I am afraid this situation will keep repeating itself. Almost anyone can snap if the right buttons are pushed, its knowing the signs to look for and getting them the help they need before they hurt themselves and others.
Yes and you can add abusiveness to the list as well. I think also that the age difference (although it should not have been a factor in a case where people are compatible) also was a factor. He was older than me and though clearly I am an adult treated me as though I was a child, he could not overcome the age difference. It was a change from the norm for me since I had previously only dated younger people. I think that in a lot of cases no matter the age once basic compatability and RESPECT is there things have a greater chance of working out.
In a word SUFFOCATION. Like a lot of artistic types I'm a bit of a free spirit and like a lot of artists there is a tendency for people not to really understand how we think. My philosophy is more of a live and let live one, I don't expect my partner to be exactly like me and I think a little difference can add spice to a relationship. What I find happenening though is I have met some who would want to curb this free spiritedness, to be more controlling, at least that is how my last relationship was. I found it very suffocating, like I had to become someone else and who I was was just not enough as I was. I couldn't live under those conditions for very long. Eventually the real self is going to come out and in that case I would have rathered to be single than live with someone who could not understand or accept me as I am.
Well seeing that you are already lying down, you might need to take off your glasses so they won't break, I'm having some of my best bull riders flown out to you, they have never had Gypsy milkshake before.
