I watched this movie on YouTube last night Elizabeth 1 starring Helen Mirren. Awesome actress and born to play the part. Just goes to show that like Elizabeth so many women can be strong leaders, yet never lose their femininity. I hope this is the right link:
Interestingly enough I saw a thread today where a Asian woman was complaining bitterly that she could not understand why western men could not respect them and treat them the way they treated western women - go figure.
Here is my take on it. Apparently(from what I've read here) a number of western men have found happiness with Asian women. They seem to find them appealing for certain 'softer' qualities that they claim they posess. There have been those who have said that western women only seek after the material(gold diggers) and cannot seem to love them the way the Asian women can.
This has become a cause for concern among the western women who feel that they too have something to bring to the table in terms of independence, strength of character, etc... yet they too can still be feminine and look after the needs of a man, once he is also willing to look after hers.
Many feel that the western man does not appreciate these qualities and that there are many men who see these Asian women as just more easily exploitable because of their so called 'softer' natures. They also feel that there are some of these women who do some exploiting as well knowing they are a hot commodity, to get passage to the States or where ever. Western womem want to be treated as more equal partners not as being under a man. So there has been much debate as to which one - western women or eastern women is better. Personally I think all women are valuable and worthy of love regardless of east of west. Hope you get the gist of the situation.
Well children are always going to be attached to their parents, some children do not adapt readily to change especially if parents separate and they were close to both. They have to be gently eased into these situations. I have not had to face this yet, but I suppose someday I will. Best to go cautiously I think and it helps if the one with the child helps to ease things along instead of trying to force a situation. It takes patience on the part of the new person entering the relationship as well. Sorry to hear it did not work out.
Hi Amaryllis, well I am on the other side of the coin, I am single person with a young child. Speaking from a parents point of view I would want whoever is dating me to know that my daughter and I are a package deal. My decisions on who I bring into her life will affect her. Dating someone with a child may not be for everyone but there are still some brave souls who don't see it as a problem.

I am willing to bet that distance plays a big part in who gets to meet up with who. You can meet someone and find you are compatible but at some point you are gonna want to meet to see if there is more. If neither one wants to or can travel for whatever reason then it remains a romance on the net.
Well being 'hunted' can be fun but so is hunting as well. Nothing wrong with a little of both that's why I always keep my dogs and hunting knife at the ready.
Well from the ones I observed they are never content sometimes because their minds always seem to be going at 95 miles and hour and they can get bored pretty quickly if their minds are not challenged enough. Yes they have mood swings and they usually want to lead not necessarily follow. However Pisceans have been accused of being moody as well(I don't think we are controlling though).
