I am sure lots of us on here would love the instant gratification of finding love right away BUT anything worth getting is worth waiting for. It does not just happen overnight, if that were so there would be far less people on here. It has nothing to do with good looks or intelligence most times its just when its the right time that the right one appears. Your young what's your rush? Take your time and think things through or rush and regret later.JMO

Where was she from? Too many cultural differences could lead to disappointment,or just differences in personality and expectations. Perhaps these are some of the reasons why she leaved you.

Have read through many a thread from 'unsatisfied costumers' on CS. From the who wants to date me to the Why won't anyone respond to me messages? Many seem to be unhappy with the responces they get. I am sure there are many reasons for this, people not being interested, too far away, badly writen profiles, coming across like a scammer, sounding too desparate etc... Though I have not found love of my life -yet(I remain optimistic) I have met lots of very nice people on here and the forums have been quite addictive.

However my main bone of contention remains the sheer number of scammers I have encountered. I am sorry but if I only sniff scammer on you I will not respond, if you claim to love me after one letter I run in the other direction. This has put a damper on my experiences here. Are you satisfied with the responces you have been getting from those you have contacted?

Adapting to a new culture for love

I have met all kinds of interesting people online at this site and others, even as far as Egypt, I like learning about new cultures, it hasn't gotten beyond the friendship stage but I suppose it would depend on the type of culture even though generally I am a pretty adaptable person
