Well since everyone is having their two cents worth here is mine. Opposition to Obama is a good thing, nobody wants yes men around them all the time, it keeps them sharp and on the ball. And I am sure the ball will drop from time to time after all people you didn't elect God just an ordinary human being with flaws and faults like you yourself.

And hey weather they spent one cent or a million on that inauguration - your economy would still be in the crapper. So the party is over and its back to work for ALL of you not just President Obama. You may not dig the guy and that is your right but at least give the guy a chance that's the least that you could do after all you gave Bush a chance and look where you are now remember? JMO

When I speak of change I don't mean that you are to become a different person e.g. Before you meet this person your a big Church goer and won't touch a drink and after you meet them you've suddenly turned into a raving alcoholic. I mean the small adjustments that a lot of couples make in a relationship because after all your dealing with a different personality. JMO.

Why are some of these posts so darn negative? We all risk something when we approach another, we all take a risk both men and women. Sure not everyone will respond positively, but I am sure there have been those we have also turned away. To be fair both men and women - reject and armed with this knowledge the brave ones among us dust ourselves off and start again, but if you go in with a negative mindset that "why the hell bother I am probably gonna get rejected" - then are you really putting your best foot forward. JMO

Sure we all want to be accepted for who we are by a potential partner. But to say we will remain static and never change is that really true? We all grow and change over time and there may be adjustments we have to make to our personalities and expect the same from out partners to make for more harmonious living. While not tryint to be someone else there is such a thing called compromise.
