Dont know much about Kilkenny but on the plus side.. They have the Cats I heard they have a brilliant comedy festival I have been told it is a lovely city.. ...There are cities apart from Dublin The Kilkenny people I have met have been sound
Ah I love offending people...sure its great craic....just joking... I agree with both you ladies. I too was raised Catholic but it does not play a huge part in my life. If it did however I would like a person to acknowledge that and participate in the Christmas or Easter traditions or Anniversaries or stuff like that..but not convert or anything. Off for a walk on the beach... Have a great afternoon
Lol... Have been at some great different cultural things and in some great houses of worship. Really interesting to see other peoples cultures and religions... Some great music too.
Sorry did not mean to offend anyone. I do think all of the religious cultural stuff is important... I meant not to me personally though... I like to respect everyones background and beliefs...
Health is also important but I would not write someone off because of a health problem...again just me personally..
Didn't say they were not important...sorry realize I was unclear...I said they are relative... I suppose what I meant really is perception of looks... But I would avoid a good looking a**hole like the plague...
Yes I agree about the Religion , Cultural stuff also. I am not tied to any particular one and as long as there are no torture rituals I dont care what Religion or culture people belong to. I am lucky enough to have friends from different ethnic backgrounds....always a party... from Hannukah to Kawanza.... cant spell that one..
Looks are relative, Have known some people who were considered very good looking but whose personalities made them appear ugly. Have known people who were not considered good looking whose personalities made them appear faboulous...
Money...could care less as long as I am not left broke and in debt
Personality... Huge...also like to see how somebody treats other people...,not just me..
Cannot stand Arrogant condescending behaviour or nastiness towards people
Haven't a clue about racing or betting ...just bet on the Grand National and the Kentucky Derby...and usually have to get someone in the bookies to help me. Just ended up at Kilbeggan races cos I was visiting friends
Maybe Offshore Account..... figure that unlike our wonderful politicians...this is as close as I will get to one or Kilbeggan Blade....have friends from near there and have been at the Kilbeggan races
Hiya Mary, Will decide nearer the summer...see if people are interested... Culchie meet most likely... you know the Dubs...they dont know about the other 31 counties ....Runs away to get protective head gear...and body armour..
Didnt't notice...hope it was not one of my hugely entertaining ones Anyway...found that thing about the guards when I was looking up a tv show from years ago..... Anyone remember a programme with three contestants....at the end of it... it was always...."Will the real "X" please stand up...?
Morning Ciaran...Sure I would have left the dubs alone if that transplanted Bored Guy hadn't started Dont know about Mankini Man...Sure I am here in Culchie land...where ignorance is bliss Yeah Dave lovely and sunny here too
Irish police have solved the mystery of a Polish recidivist who clocked up 50 traffic offences on different addresses and who was never caught, after one officer noticed his name meant driving licence in Polish. An internal police memo cited by Irish papers said officers taking details of Polish traffic offenders had been mistakenly using "Prawo Jazdy", printed in the top right corner of the driving licence, as the holder's name. "Prawo Jazdy is actually the Polish for driving licence and not the first and surname on the licence," the police memo dated June 2007 said. "It is quite embarrassing to see the system has created Prawo Jazdy as a person with over 50 identities." A police spokesman declined to comment on the reports. Fair Play to the Garda Síochána…. Not much gets past them…especially Speeding Poles..
I found this when I was googling something else. Possibly Polish Drivers Licences do not have Pictures or Signatures
Kinda reminds me of the joke about the fella who was preparing for a religious exam. He wrote all the answers on a matchbox.. He was doing grand until the priest asked him to name two of the Apostles....He answered..." Maguire and Patterson"
Just a bit of fun.... No offence intented to.... The Garda Síochána The Polish Population Any Religious Group The People who use Maguire and Patterson Anyone with any sensitivities...
Hiya Clodagh...now are we talking about the singles ads or the grand national Yeah I have always gone by the name...pissed off some big time gamblers who studied the form...when my horse with the idiotic name won lol... Hope you are feeling well
Nah...used to do the pin trick in the singles ads...no luck Have won a few times on the Grand National, I just pick names that I like or remind me of something
Sorry... I keep bumping up old threads...not out of date clothing or anything ...just previously posted stuff I have been internet free for 6 weeks...luckily got a great 12 step programme...to help me through...microsoft of course Anyway have just been reading all the stuff I missed..so apologies for bringing up the stuff that you have all read and dealt with already
lmao...I am in that category...Are private motorists allowed to drive on O'Connell St.? .... I dont get to the big smoke often I did learn to drive in a city though...New York City.. ...oops...should that be an apple
Well they have obviously been blessed with the ability to see around corners...this seems to make overtaking easy and worry free for them.... even if it means that some of us lesser mortals have to veer into the ditch to save their sorry asses when they realize too late that there is a vehicle approaching them... Also they seem to be very secure in the knowledge that the driver behind them knows where they are going so therefore there is no need to ever use an indicator...
