Well the best that we can do is to try and continue to post positive things and ignore the bad feelings that surface now and again. There are some genuinely nice people on here.

I have no idea. I have never seen the need to do it. When The forums dont interest me I just ignore them rather than delete my profile.

Well, is a mod not allowed to participate in the forums like everybody else?
Or do you mean that this is possibly a mod who is biased towards his/her favourite posters on here.
I am not trying to stir anything here just curious.
I do think that mods should be held responsible for their posts the same as the rest of us. And possibly the mods should be reviewed now and again to see how suitable they themselves are to police a site.
Not a criticism, just some observations and suggestions.
I try not to get involved and my grey matter or lack thereof usually limits me to the silly fun threads
Now if I disappear....you will know that it is a far reaching conspiracy which can even find the culchies in remote Donegal

I agree, it sounds like single parents are being referred to as a commodity.
I have major respect for single parents. They do a damn hard job trying to raise children by themselves. Any that I have been fortunate enough to know are hardworking and have to put even more effort into trying to get out and have a social life. All of the ones that I know put their children first and then are often berated for trying to also have a life.
I have equal respect for single fathers who no offense intended often get overlooked.
