RE: Fleadh Ceoil

Lol I didn't think that anyone outside of Cavan knew where Mullahoran was.. I was down at the Fleadh Wednesday and Thursday. It is mad busy and there is a great atmosphere around the place.

RE: good looking people...

I think that people are people...we all have the same insecurities no matter what we look like...well not the same insecurities but personal things. Good looking people might feel that they have to work on their personalities cos some people write them off as being a**hole and full of themselves? At the most you get 15-20 years out of your looks? just guessing and asking here..so I would imagine that your personality is the thing that stays with you...well I have never heard of a botox that works on personalitydunno
Sometimes I think that maybe we are too quick to judge others..a girl that likes to look good and wear make up etc.. might just need that security to present herself to the world.. a person that comes across as being aloof or big headed might just have been burned before...
Bottom line...I belive (jmo) that we should always give someone a chance and not judge them immediately...that is just me thoughblushing

RE: A question for the girls !!!!

You?short of a few marbles??? nevertongue
I cant be arsed...I just block and delete... I am a 46 year auld wan...gimme a break and stop annoying my head...jeez...
Well that is my attitude to them...

RE: Graduation gift?

Nice and useful token gift :)

RE: Graduation gift?

Ah stop being such a PITAtongue Hi C :)

Personalized briefcase sounds nice. Or how about an action gift before he has to settle down to the serious business of being an adult..( Well he might decide to do that, I myself have not done so yetblushing )

Congratulations to you and your sonbouquet

RE: Cover of Vogue

Jeez S. that is mad....cant figure what the parents are thinking..

RE: Cover of Vogue

I read about this in the last couple of weeks.

I think the same goes for the American Kids beauty pageants, programmes such as "toddlers and tiaras" show the extremes that parents go to putting make up and adult style clothes on young girls.
Does anyone remember Jonbenet Ramsey in the States?

RE: smokers...

We all have disgusting habits...I happen to be one of these disgusting smokers..who does not judge other peoples habits....
Years ago I was standing in a bus queue in New York..open air... I had just finished working 12 hours,I stood a few feet from the people waiting on the bus but one woman felt that she had the need to tell me that smoking was a disgusting habit.... I agreed with her...I told her that it was almost as bad a habit as sticking your nose into somebody elses business... I said that because I thought that I had been considerate in stepping away from everyone else....

RE: Butchers

Yuk....I would imagine that some butchers might use a sauce to cover up stuff that is going off..but jees it's bad when there are maggots on it.. I rarely buy anything pre made...I make everything from scratch, it doesn't really take a lot longer and you know what is going in to it.

RE: The Amazing Video Thread

RE: new forum lay out

Well Hello there Lady Black wave
I dont like the new forums...damn I need new glasses...and yes I put a pic up of me when I was much youngerbanana

RE: Deception

You were never freakin' cooltongue
Oh ok...maybe you still arewave
I love being old....not that I ever really bothered with the deception thing...I so cannot be arsed with lying and the bad memory thing...
Even when I was younger, I could never understand why anybody would put themselves through the hard work of pretending to be anything other than they were. Sure it has to be kind of like cheating at an exam...you only fool yourself and you are always found out in the enddunno
Then again I grew up in a non hi tech era so it was probably a lot harder to fool people...

RE: how many friends have u made on C.S??????

Great profile pic you are looking greatwave wave

RE: how many friends have u made on C.S??????

I have made a few friends some that are even up to thirty years younger than me...sure it is all about the craic and the age difference doesn't matter...Crazy legs...or as I call her "lil upstart" is probably one of the youngest that I have met and while I would never presume that she might consider me a friend, we definitely have had some craic together even outside of cscheering cheering cheering

RE: Letters...

Sorry for jumping in here guys...didn't know what the thread was about....I always jump in...eh there was a point to this...something to do with Glen girl....Howaya Gwave
