I think it should be left that people decide and tick their licences or carry a card, purely for the reason that their next of kin cannot object as it is already in place. My family already know that my organs are to be donated so it just saves time.

I actually don't even know how it works. Is your profile temporarily deactivated? Does it take a few days to get it back?
Maybe it is like a self imposed ban to give oneself a cooling off period in which case maybe I should hide out a bit more often when I am feeling crabby Personally I couldn't be bothered, if I am not on here it is usually cos I am off doing something. Plus I am too lazy to look into the finer details, I am either here or I am not. I think that most people just hide their profiles without any fanfare I don't remember seeing any major announcements about hiding profiles as opposed to when people say a general goodbye to everyone
