Sorry to hear what you went through skinny but did you not question the advice given to you by the gardai. I am sure that you were upset and afraid but maybe it would have helped to have another person with you who could question the advice that they gave to you and maybe ask to see a more superior officer. I think it is reprehensible that they would put you at risk in such a way. Was it a very junior member of the Garda that you dealt with?

Okay, I am not getting this...Correct me if I am wrong..It appears to me that skinny (who we all thought was just a regular poster with one profile) had different profiles?
If this is the case then that is kinda dissapointing. I would expect that from trolls etc. but not from someone that I actually had met. Oh well takes all sorts I suppose and people get their jollies in different ways...

A regular poster copped me in no time lol...
I am dim at figuring out the fakes...I usually spot them but have no idea who they are...partly cos if that is what floats their boat let them at it...I would not waste my time on them and partly because I often miss days on here and they have come and gone before I even know that they have been here dazzling us with their brilliance and happy in the knowledge that they have taken us all for a crowd of fools.
I figure some of them genuinely have sad lives and others just think that they are superior...either way sad!

I am lucky enough to have some lifelong trustworthy friends. However there is one who I would ring immediately if I wanted to talk. We are friends about 25+ years. She doesn't judge and I dont even have to have a problem fully worked out in my own head...can just ring her and she can interpert the blubber lol..She would not even discuss it with our other trusted friend until she knew that I was ready...An Amazing friend.
