Honesty....

Would you not rather be asked straight out?...this was a situation where they were already friends? I am not talking about a straight out bunny boiler who has known you for five mins......Just so you know...I have a slow cooker...bunnies taste much better....

..Okay....Was listening to the radio on my way home from work this morning...Ray Darcy Show...Anyone hear it?
As usual (kinda like CS threads) I just got the tail end of it....This Girl is friends with a guy but wants more...His friends have said that they think he likes her...
Some of the advice given was...well go out and have a few jars with him(the great Irish way lol)and then make a move on him...well not exactly that but give him more than a hug...
Other Advice
Talk to his friends and let him know that you are interested..

Yikes... I dont have mine anymore.
I have a panasonic Lumix fz38 and a Panasonic Lumix TZ10(for the pub shots lol..it's got 12 MP and 12 Optical zoom)

I had a much older version of this camera and it was brilliant. I am just a point and shoot idiot. I have been told by real photographers that Optical Zoom is much more important than digital zoom. Also this camera has a rechargeable battery which is way better than messing around with AA batteries which never seem to hold the charge as well as the Li-ion ones.
My profile pic was taken a few years back with an old olympus which only had a 5xoptical zoom and 8MP. This one has 10x optical zoom and 14 MP I think. The price seems good too.

Another of my happy days was when I was at a really low point in my life...I had kinda distanced myself from my family..just to get my own head around stuff...finally rang one of my brothers....he said to me..."It is so great to hear from you..I thought about you so often..I thought about ringing you..but I know what you are like..you have to process stuff yourself"
That meant so much to me...cos it is amazing to have someone that understands me so well..but gives me space...

Well I am a bit of a sap....
Congrats to all of you for having acheived/overcome different things.
I just think that happy memories are great to have especially when any of us go through difficult times...if that makes any sense...
I just believe in concentrating on the positive in life...which is why I put this thread up...

Hey.... this is just to combat any negativity on here...I dont know what my happiest day was but there have been a few...
The day my first Niece was born...
The day I passed my driving test without killing someone
The times that I saw REM live
The times when I have received a really nice and unexpected gesture from someone....
Lots of little things along the way that remind me what life is really about

Another thing that I advocate...yeah yeah I Know...big word for me...
How many families have a meeting point in case of fire? I annoy family and friends about this one. If you have a designated meeting point and everyone knows to go there it can prevent a family member running back into a fire to look for someone.

Night definitely....cant do mornings. However having said that on the few (very few) occasions that I have actually gotten up early and had a productive day...Yes productive in my world can mean anything even going for a long walk or drive...doesn't mean I actually have to do anything, I have really enjoyed being up early and think to myself " I must do this more often"...That feeling usually passes for another year
I would like to be more of a morning person but cant seem to hack it.
