lol Thanks for telling me... In fairness though, most people that I have met from here are pretty much like they are on here..and I have been told that I am much the same myself...
Did Michael English say that he was 32? He seems more like 132...jeez what a bore...he is like someone's grandfather Sorry...just catching up with it on RTE Player..
Hi Annie I changed from o2 to three almost two years ago and there is no comparison. Three is way better, I get coverage everywhere, even in places where I could never get a signal with o2. I had a few glitches in the beginning but rarely ever since. Their customer service is absolute crap and you will be pulling your hair out by the handful if you ever have to deal with them. Maybe just go for pay as you go rather than a contract if you are worried about coverage. I have to say that my experience of them has been grand regarding coverage, o2 was awful and the strange thing about "mobile" broadband, they told me that they only have to guarantee you coverage at your actual address...not much mobile about that Hope you get sorted.
Yeah, very sad. I dont think that I would serve ten shots to someone who appeared to have been drinking all evening. Then again I suppose what is the difference lots of people start drinking doubles after drinking pints but I would still hesitate before serving someone ten shots in a pint glass. Anyway not for me to judge I would imagine that the bartender and manager thought that the customer was okay and could handle it. Like another poster said, sometimes it is hard to judge how drunk a person is as we all appear different. The sloppy drunk is easier to spot than the steady drunk who still appears to be relatively sober. Especially when it is not a regular customer and you dont know their form. Sad all around.
New York Dram Shop law is found in section 11-101 of the New York General Obligations law. Under this law, it is illegal for businesses to serve alcohol to persons who are visibly intoxicated. New York State law places liability on drinking establishments for serving alcohol to persons who are already obviously intoxicated. Restaurants, taverns, pubs and bars may be liable for damages to third parties who are injured as a result of the sale of alcohol if it is determined that the business employee served alcohol to an individual who exhibited slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, aggressive behavior a lack of physical coordination and other tell-tale signs of visibly intoxicated individuals.
It is also a violation of New York State law to serve alcohol to minors who are intoxicated. What does New York’s Dram Shop law cover?
It does not matter whether or not an intoxicated individual causes injury to an individual inside or outside of the drinking establishment in which he became legally drunk. Consequently, if a bar serves a person alcohol, then that person drives away and injures another person in a car accident, the people injured may sue the bar for monetary damages. Additionally, dram shop laws in New York also hold the bar liable if their patron injures a pedestrian. The legal liability under New York’s Dram Shop law is not limited to vehicular accidents but may include incidents where the patron engages in a fight or attacks an innocent bystander.
Employees are also prohibited from serving alcohol to persons who are known to be habitual drunkards. Patrons themselves may not sue the business establishment. Should I hire a New York lawyer for a Dram Shop claim?
In order for the drinking establishment to be held liable, the plaintiff must prove:
* - The person who injured them was intoxicated; * - The defendant (the bar or tavern) sold or provided liquor to the intoxicated person; * - The defendant also caused or contributed to the person’s subsequent intoxication
I remember being told about this law when I bartended in Manhattan and in New Jersey. It really hit home that your responsibility did not end when the customer left the premises.
Ah you know, in fairness he doesn't seem like a bad lad...sure Croke Park is different. lmao @ the lads trousers...thanks to OP for this thread...normally sooo not the type of thing that I watch but I think it is hilarious
There was a lad on from Westmeath on another episode, he seemed so ignorant I was wondering how the girl could date him never mind marry him lol but sure they looked happy on the day.
As usual I have only read bits of the thread...sorry You know what...Fair play to them..a young couple ..who it appears actually love each other...She looked gorgeous too. Unfortunately they are most likely going to have amazing pressure put on them every day by the media and by the Royal Family as to what is expected of them. I for one hope that they make it...everyone is entitled to a chance of happiness. I am not a major British/Royal fan but I dont think that these two individuals have had a hand in Irish Opression...so yes...I wish them well.
Ah here now N...What are you trying to get out of us??? For me...I think it would be that I am not a self confident person. I will yap away to anyone but I have never been self confident about my personality, looks etc. I try to be but dunno what it is and my friends are always on to me about it... Apart from that I would have to say the other thing that people dont know about me is that I have six toes...on all three of my feet
Not entirely happy with the reference to my age now N....Sure I am only 27 and a half...I lied on my profile cos it seemed like a lot of guys liked auld wans...sure wouldn't you know to look at me that I am only a young wan? Now where did I leave my cocoa
I am actually listening to Cat Stevens now...and I like him...I am using him for cleaning music (kitchen is a mess ) Next up is "The Stunning"...Anyone remember them???
lmfao N... Would these be the same wans that like to go out but like a quiet night in...love walks on the beach etc.??? I am lucky enough to live close to a fantastic beach, I walk there no matter what the weather...I just love to feel the rain/wind/sun on my face...sure no wonder I am such a weather beat looking auld wan
Okay...can someone explain this to me.... Fantastic Sunny day today... I spent most of the afternoon at the beach...saw quite a few women there with full make up on...kinda funny though when you see a very colourful face and totally white body Why would you go to the beach wearing full make up?? Okay I try not to appear in public without make up...scaring young kids and all of that...but I do not wear make up going to the beach.
lmao I am not a fan of the Royals(or any form of class distinction) however since I am clearly not a glamorous person myself I do like to watch a bit of celeb glam so I will watch the highlights at some stage. I dont do mornings so I will not be watching it live lol.
Or maybe stay with me and we could get a taxi there and back which might be cheaper than a hotel in Letterkenny Depending on if I am working or not...sure even if I am working, you could stay here anyway if a taxi would be guaranteed to bring you home. Will check it out
RE: Late Late Show
Well in fairness....Michael English is not a good representative of your gender lol
