Way too much fighting.... no fun banter on here anymore..but some people seem to enjoy the fighting and sniping to the point of bringing it into non controversial threads...who knows...maybe it is a new mating ritual???
I personally dont find the forums much fun these days but to each his own

I think it is harder for young people today as there seem to be more temptations food wise. Like you say, I cant imagine the pressure younger girls must feel trying to conform to what is presented as being the perfect size...

Yeah and I was a string of misery lol...had to walk everywhere and we did not have much processed food or fizzy drinks in my house so we were all thin lol. I was 5 and a half to six stone doing my leaving cert...made up for it since woo hoo
I just moved back to Ireland nine years ago and I have to say that I noticed that a lot of girls in their teens and early twenties were larger sized than girls of the same age group some years ago.
Not a criticism but it just struck me as I had been out of the country for fourteen years and it seemed to me that in that time Ireland seemed to have sprouted a lot more fast food joints and the jumbo breakfast roll which might not have helped.

Well I have gone done to -2...think its a bit too thin, I mean do you still exist if you are size 0 or like me -2.... oops that should read that I have reached size 12 and climbing
Hiya N. I hear most men say that they do not like women who are exceptionally thin
Myself I prefer to be at a comfortable weight and I am in my opinion a wee bit overweight now. I am used to being a certain weight and usually size 10 to 12, anything over that I just find to be uncomfortable for me.
I think weight is a personal thing and the most important thing in my opinion is that your weight does not pose health risks.
Having said that I have no problem doing other unhealthy stuff like smoking and drinking ...idiot that I am
I think Marilyn Monroe looked great and I think that she would be considered overweight by todays Hollywood standards.

Thanks, will try and remember this. I am a coward and mostly just will not drive. I was stuck at work for 6 extra hours a few weeks ago but like I said no one else could get up or down this famous hill either lol.

Unfortunately I dont have that option. Where I work is up on a hill and there is only one way to get there. Like I said even taxi drivers and bin men cannot make it up but thanks for the pointers I will try and remember them for my non work driving

I am terrified of driving in frost and ice...any pointers?
Sorry ladies but we all know that woman cant drive and we must bow to our superior male counterparts on this one ( like hell ladies we know we are better...just fuelling the egos...oops did I just type out loud )
Seriously any advice would be appreciated so that I dont sit in until May...I have already got stuck at work unable to get out because of bad weather but it wasn't just me, the bus driver and the bin men were unable to make it up the hill

Why would anyone look for a perfect guy, Isn't it our flaws that make us human? I would imagine that perfect would be a wee bit boring... Everybody has something to offer in life. I dont mean you should settle for just anyone but maybe just find the guy that is perfect for you, he does not have to be perfect for anyone else
I myself am far from perfect (very far ) so I think that I would have some nerve demanding perfection of others..but that is just me
