I've seen many chubby and very beautiful women.

Perhaps as many as thin ones...

There are many people who have a very hard time (or simply can't be) in control - ever heard of genetic predisposition, different body types, etc.?

A highlighted statement is nothing more than a prejudiced belief in the superiority of one group/kind of people over the other.

And no, not all women are beautiful.

I don't see how the age of a woman (whom he is asking this question) is relevant?

We all have seen a horrible huge ugly blobs of fat on women in their twenties, even as young as teenagers,

we also see women in their 40s and 50s with stunning bodies...

but making contact with someone on a net with a question
"How proportional is your body?"

besides being extremely rude, reveals a fool.

And not so many people fancy a fool as a partner.

True... ignorance is bliss.

But I wouldn't go as far as generalizing that many happy/pleasant-to-be-around/loving people have these personality traits because they are ignorant.

Hence perhaps it has more to do with a distortion of perception than with acuteness of perception?

There are old, really old(!), Chinese ladies in a neighborhood who make $100 in a couple of days just collecting cans... because they are too old to operate a sawing machine in a factory anymore.
