My advice is to morn for a short time and then start looking for a girlfriend. I have lost thousands by trying to be a nice guy and learned the hard way to take my time and get to know a girl before moving forward.
I have dated a woman with a child that had special needs. We started out as lovers and within three weeks I ended up as the babysitter while she went out to the gym and other places. I would still date a woman who had a child with special needs as it was not the child's fault, but I would get to know the mother better.
RE: North Korea's rights. I agree. But that means every country has the right to defend it's self including the U.S., and that includes preventing another country from obtaining certain weapons.
Snuggs09, sadly, any time you trust someone you risk being hurt. Get to know the person however you feel comfortable doing so and try not to let personal feelings get in the way of the truth.
I have had some wonderful fun times with you on the forums but I understand your situation and wish you the best. I have not known you long but you have been kind, understanding, and a great person. A true friend would only want the best for you and though I will miss your presence here, I want you to be happy. Again, I wish you the best and should we never meet again, I'm sure that the universe will provide you with others who care about you and consider you a friend also.
Consider this though. Even our communication via e-mail or a forum is an action coming from an individual. You may not be there with the person but the action is taking place all the same. To say that nothing that we communicate through a forum or e-mail can be believed is to say that we should not be trusting what we are reading about each other right now. Yet we are replying to each other as if we have somehow accepted what someone else has said as their true opinion.
I believe that people can fall in love over the computer because real love is about who you are, and communicating over the computer allows us to get to know someone in their true form, even if not completely. When you are on the forums for an extended period of time, you tend to hang loose and be yourself. Combine this with e-mail which is more personal and you get to see two sides of a person.
Nothing is 100% but I really think it helps for all who are not blind and refuse to see. Those will never really know anyone.
Site won't allow pictures without cloths and I don't want to get booted for doing so. I must also consider the men on this site who might very well be traumatized by the sight of my naked body, even if only for a moment.
RE: how do you fall in love with a computer monitor....
Still true.
