Yes, gotta agree. There's no problem for me in putting up a thread about Pinochet's victims, but why do it in opposition to one about 9 11 ? That just shows that some people can't accept that Americans can ever be victims, that they must always be the bad guys.
Yeah I guess that's it, you see disasters all over the world but you don't really think that you could be in any of these places. America was different.
I agree, the sad thing is she sounds like she's lost control of her daughter already at this stage. Her daughter could very easily make a life-changing mistake. Where's the girl's father in all of this? what does he think? has he been told and is it possible to send the girl to live with him for a while or something?
Thanks for that, much appreciated, (and Newbridge too). I found her very bossy, nothing wrong with that but if you do that you have to be prepared to take it as well. If you are free with your judgements of people you have to accept their judgements.

People can't seem to argue without taking it personally, I don't mind what anyone says of me as long as I have to right to reply. If you can't have free speech on a site like this where can you have it?
That's his point! (shouldn't be speaking for him, this is just my view of what he meant) that USA used the 9 11 thing to justify the whole Iraq invasion.
Good advice, same thing happened to me. If you pick up the weights - even a bit - you carry yourself differently and look more confident, and people notice that.
