Yes, Islamophobia does exist. I was feebly trying to say a couple things showing a common distinction between Muslim and Islam related terms. Guess it didn't come out the way I wanted it to.

I don't know anyone personally who blames Islam directly. Rather, they blame the mixed-up and mislead Muslim terrorists using/practicing Islam. Regardless, most religious faith is something that can't be proven to me and that's where my ignorance on this issue begins.

Most of my medical doctors, for instance, are middle eastern, and we share many common interested founded long ago in their populating one of my favorite childhood homes in Dearborn, Michigan. I think Dearborn still has the largest Muslim population outside of their origins. Good people, good food, good times....
