While using my four year old Motorola as back up I got one of those phone calls from an Optus dealer of lies! Ten days latter still no phone? I decided to change to Vodafone!
I got a new Galaxy II for $29 per month for 24 months, my first really smart phone! Its like really cool, as it play U tube at real fast speeds and the picture quality is better than my LCD TV,
What experiences have you had lately with mobile phone companies?
Is their any wonder that there are more mobile phones in this country than people if a phone breaks down in less than 12 months? (thanks again Nokia)
Two within three weeks about six months ago! The fist one doing 115 in a 100km zone along a split four lane highway divided with safety barriers 2 points
The second 60km in a 60 zone $75 dual lane divided road again? Both times after dropping the kid of to her mum on a Sunday.
Yes I speed all the time! It keeps my mind alert and my car away from all the DH on the road! I normally start work at 6am, so I see all the half asleep jerks on the road or half pissed from the night before! People who’s car windows are all fogged up so they cant see out of them or their mirror!
By the way I am a professional driver, as I am on the road ten hours a day and getting paid for it!
Rentals over here still have a long queue! Although I have noticed some new estates are getting slow on new development? The cost of land here is ridiculous now! With the prediction off lower interest rates next year this would be the ideal time to build a home! I am paying the honeymoon interest rate at the moment, first home buyer rate, but a 1% rate drop will save me thousands! Over the 30 years to pay for the new place, and it could drop the time by 5 to 10 years in repayments!
But at the end of the day? When you are ready to retire and you realize that your retirement funds aren’t adequate? To pay rent and eat! wouldn’t you prefer not to have to pay rent? And actually be able to eat food other than dog food and be able to have the heater on in summer!
I don’t buy pizza! I make my own! But if you are smart you will see that shops will have coffee rice and beans on special on a regular cycle, what you need too do is to buy that bit more too get you through too the next cycle?
I buy my coffee at $14 per 500 grams usually $24 I find you can get everything on special if you shop right! And yes I have more food than I could ever eat at home now, but some weeks I only need to buy bread and milk!
Sorry we had a referendum to ignore stupid people that like to stuff around with clocks!
With the 16 hour days of sunlight we have here in the west if you cant organize an hour or two to do what you need to do then move to Antarctica! They have 24 hour days in summer! For six months at a time, although it dose get a little chilly?
12 months ago I had the money to travel the world with lots off change left ! And keep going!
But the kid moved in with me, and I realized what the hell was I thinking?
I took on a responsibility, when she was born and until she is self supported my responsibility is not finished!
It’s a pity more parents don’t feel the same way these days? I have recently took in a boy that has been abused since birth, I have given him a safe home with support, he was living in an old caravan in the back yard of his mothers (and I use this term lightly) place, that looks like a tip!

The government mentioned something about a $4200 payment to parents off secondary education this financial year! So I can’t wait to claim that! Not to mention the new carbon taxes’ that I will be getting for being a low income family assistance customer! My new 4.½ % pay rise hasn’t kicked in as yet but the government have put up my pay already!
I may have to take a holiday just to get over all the excitement off tax time!
Most importantly! Please don’t feed the wildlife while your up north, those crocodiles get used to tourist real quick, and its hard to keep up the supply? Off tourist!
When you have your days of in the clean sparkling waters of Perth’s beaches please be aware, at certain times we like to let the sharks have a swim by themselves! Getting blood stains of the white sands can be very harmful to the wildlife and labour intensive!
Some of the customs can seam strange at first but buying a round of drinks is considered an honour
Oh! And most importantly Aussies have a tendency too pull the piss out of everyone!

I can change from 2 to 10 kg per week! It has always been that way for me, I am one of those people that don’t get hungry? But I do suffer from dizzy spells if I forget to eat for three or four days at a time?
People who attack people who have guns deserve to be shot!
