It is my honest opinion that many women just want the love of a good decent, caring, thoughtful man, have i given up on that,,,,,,,,,, well every now and then i can say i have, but then someone restores my faith, that there are good men a plenty out there. We tend( maybe ) to judge some on here ,because we have been listening to them for so long. which is wrong,, but is it really,or are our instincts and intuition just very good!!!
Recently i was in the company of a young couple, who were very obviously in love. He was such a gentleman, and had no problem displaying his affection for his partner. It was mutual of course, and i told him, that he had restored my faith, that romance and chivalry were alive and well.
I'm glad you enjoy it, and meeting the women, anything that adds to the cheer.
I'm not against it, i just think it is sad when we see those with too much and those with nothing to give to their children
I have lovely memories, and while we might not have had too much, we enjoyed Christmas As i discovered later in life, my older brother made stuff out of wood, toys for his younger brothers, He was brilliant with his hands, nobody knew any different and all were very happy That same brother we burried on Monday.
Christmases way back then were precious, but in my opinion, too much waste today

I used to have hot whiskey's while cooking the dinner, my son used to make them for me, I would keep saying, "will you make me another and another son, until , i had to get help with dinner But i have that memory , and laugh when i think of it.
