RE: date in Dublin... any takers

Just ask the right guy laugh

RE: Anyone for tennis?

Maria Kirilenko or Ana Ivanovic. They can fight it out to be my doubles partner...or take turns laugh

RE: Anyone for tennis?

I would never fall in love with a tennis player, love means nothing to them laugh

RE: has ayone met anyone famous ? if so who was it

Fergie gave a talk in UCD a while back, he was a real laugh. He's fairly quick witted when it comes to banter. He was getting plenty of stupid but good humoured questions.

The Saturdays were there in May. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! I was always a Frankie man before then, but Una Healy is the hottest person I've met in real life. Beautiful girl with the most electric blue eyes! Shame I'm not a rugby player like she prefers!

So basically go to UCD, write for the college paper and get to meet famous people!

RE: has ayone met anyone famous ? if so who was it

Tony Aldridge???

As for me, I've met Gabriel Byrne, Liam Neeson, Dirk Benedict, Alex Ferguson, The Saturdays (shush they are hot!), Joe Duffy and Gay Byrne.

I've met a few of the Irish models too in UCD over the years. There's a few other celebs I've seen at different things in college over the years that I'm sure will come back to me later. A god few of the above were at college stuff.

RE: what are yiur bad habits!!

I spend way too much time on the Internet these days. I hate that fuzzy-head feeling I get after a while on it! Paper and pen ftw laugh

RE: Independent women...

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing Nice one. I prefer a guardian girl myself

RE: cork for the double

They played well but Tipp will be strong later in the year. I would not be surprised to see Tipp beating Cork in and All-Ireland semi-final.

RE: older women...

banana

RE: were are all the guys today, its so quiet!!

I've been recovering from a night out and watching the hurling. Too much dancing and messing last night has worn me out!

RE: Who will we support in the world cup?

Fifa did not "dump" Ireland. We just suffered from a terrible decision going against us. I'm tired of telling conspiracy theorists this. If they "wanted" us to lose they would have given a penalty and sent off Shay Given for the dive at Anelka's feet earlier in extra time.

Plus as much as it pains me to say, we were not winning at the time of the Henry handball, it was 1-1 on aggregate. The game was heading towards penalties and France were on top for the first time in the 120 minutes.

Sadly we are missing out because Ireland didn't take their chances and because of a poor decision. France have suffered some of the worst decisons of all time in past World Cups, so maybe they were due a break. That doesn't make it easier, nor does it make up for the awful decisions that have gone against Ireland in the past.

I am looking forward to the World Cup because I love football and the WC is the biggest tournament in sport.

Oh and...well done Niamh Kavanagh too!

RE: Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier

Good points alright. When we did it in college, every girl in the room agreed that Rochester was a positive character. Jane's position in life does have a lot to do with that popularity. The fairy tale elements of the prince (Rochester may as well be one what with the estate, rank etc) marrying the plain girl speaks to most girls I guess. But it is good that the end of the book subverts the norms and has Jane has the wealthier of the two.

RE: Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier

I've always been intrigued by girls fascination with Rochester. Jane Eyre is definitely better than Rebecca, but I would not class it as a tragic book. It all ties up quite nicely in the end, even including a nice miracle due to the power of love!

RE: Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier

I think Tess of the D'Urbervilles is hard to beat when it comes to tragic books! Hardy knew how to pile on the misery

RE: who would ya??!?!?

My laughing face at the end showed that I was messing though! My stand by your man rip off line was another piss-take clue!

Hopefully Gender Wars is not about to take off! Everybody has it hard and easy at different times.

On another note...I wonder how many people are now singing stand by your man in their head?

RE: who would ya??!?!?

We want recognition! The girls can too cruel to us poor chaps at times. Sigh...sometimes it's hard to be a manlaugh

RE: proven

RE: Modelling...

Depends on what sort of modelling you want to do. Catwalk models still tend to be 5'8 or over.

The Irish models doing the press calls like Pippa O'Connor wouldn't have to be that height though. A pleasant face and nice body are all the tools needed. And glamour models would be similar like Claire Tully. There they are more worried about the size of other body parts laugh

RE: quality or quantity????

Quality all the way. They don't call the sweets Quantity Street, now do they? laugh

RE: pick one
