Well anybody that did march on the embassy looked foolish...completely overshadowed a good performance from our team. And overshadowed the fact we shpuld have just won 2-0 in normal time.
Same thing happening with Louth, should have wrapped it up before the last minute. That is part of what makes losing in such circumstances so difficult.
My post came from listening to friends of mine complain non-stop about an ex, listing how horrible they were. It just annoyed me as the ex was not a bad person. They just were not right for each other.
Anyway, best to focus on the romantic possibilities the future brings!
Most romantic gesture I have done was a simple one. I turned up at her work placement for lunch (for college not transition year, before ye get ideas ) and took her on a surprise picnic in Stephens Green. She has sent a text earlier that day about how stressed she was so I decided to cheer her up!
Most ex's are likely to get a bad reputation...more likely to say the bad things about them than the good things. A trick of the mind to help yourself. When I talk about my ex now (not that I mention her all the time!) I would only ever say the bad things or joke about her. Yet we were together for 3 years so there was plenty of good with the bad.
So they can sometimes be spoken of as worse than they really were. Often it is just that two people were not right for each other.
Though there of course bad apples, I won't deny that. Speaking of bad apples, my ex....
Eh...I did not march on the French embassy. Plus actually READ what I just said.
A few deranged people that did that are hardly representative of the other 4 million. I lived near the French embassy at the time, there were less than 50 people that did it.
If Louth try to take legal action over this, it will be ridiculous. If Meath players offered a replay, I would say "well done" to them. But they have a point. Plenty of decisions went against them as well. If this replay was given, it could have opened up every game to the potential of protests and replays.
An awful way to lose, but what has happened has happened. They need to move on and get ready for the qualifiers. If not they will be rolled over in them.
Plenty of Catalonians like that. The final was the first time they have ever shown a Spanish game on a big screen in main plaza in Barcelona. Sure they even have their own "national" team too
RE: Snack Bars!!
Jeez smiling, don't make me call the cops after you. I warned you about that when I found you in the bushes in my garden
