RE: question thats baffled mankind for centuries

I may make the pilgrimage to one of the meets somewhere else as my penance for not being able to go laugh

Glendalough is pretty cool! It is not called the Garden of Ireland for nothing laugh At some stage over the next week I'll be in Limerick, so I can compare it then!

RE: question thats baffled mankind for centuries

The butchers classic of "hide the sausage" laugh

RE: question thats baffled mankind for centuries

At least there wasn't any beating of meat involved laugh

RE: question thats baffled mankind for centuries

I had a prior family engagement...which is actually connected to why I was in the butchers getting a chicken!

Miffed I missed one 20 minutes from home

RE: question thats baffled mankind for centuries

Yep I was in the butchers! Wow my first CS sighting rolling on the floor laughing

RE: question thats baffled mankind for centuries

Baffled mankind for centuries...answered in two posts laugh

RE: What are you guys doing right now

Men can too you know laugh

RE: What are you guys doing right now

Watching Man United, drinking milk (It does a body good!) and on here!

RE: What operating system is your computer running

Download Google Chrome, so much faster than firefox and no pop-ups as you would get with Explorer. Plus it just looks so cool.

RE: dublin v louth

Leinster final was their one shot at glory. I expected a fall out after that game like is happening. Just not used to playing at a high level regularly. Leinster was unusual this year with Dublin and Kildare going out early, so the other side of the draw opened up for the weaker teams.

RE: dublin v louth

Meath are a good bit better than Louth and have been for the last few years. Over the past few years they have been steadily improving. Meath scoring 5 goals against Dublin was above their usual level, but they are a decent team.

Kerry are always perennial favorites, nothing new there!

RE: dublin v louth

Dublin showing today that they are coming together a bit better now. Also showing the Meath should have taken Louth to the cleaners

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

You always have to watch out for the innocent ones laugh

RE: dublin v louth

Oh and I see Dublin squeezing through this one

RE: dublin v louth

Dublin need to change their systems in the underage teams. Stop focusing on just big players. Pick a few footballers and build from there. They are all very samey at the minute other than Brogan, need a little touch of magic. That Cluxton is taking the odd free is a bad, bad sign.

I'd like to see Meath get to final. Football needs a strong Meath. Nice for Cork to win the All Ireland too, they deserve one.

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

I can't help it, I am part Austin Powers. Every second line is a double entendre. I'm always slipping one in...whoops there I go again

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

We can steer it back on course...think about plucking a sweet rose on your way to a date laugh

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

Beating around the bush

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

Nice to see how one post from me in this thread made it descend into 2 pages of filth...I haven't lost the magic touch.

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

Dishonorable Discharge laugh

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

Hand to Gland Combat

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

Charming the snake. I have lowered the tone of the threads!

Probably still some traces of jaeger bombs left in me from Wednesday so I'm still a little rowdy rolling on the floor laughing

RE: LC and Ger's Blind date.

Nah choking the chicken is the technical term rolling on the floor laughing

RE: NORTH KOREA AND SOUTH KOREA

laugh It is why I took up athletics...gotta be able to run fast laugh

As for North and South Korea, it reminds me of the North. A situation was set up that was always going to lead to conflict down the line. Difficult to know what USA should have done at the time, but ghettoizing NK from the world is not a good idea.

RE: NORTH KOREA AND SOUTH KOREA

North Korea have nukes too. The equivanlent of thinking about dating a girl who has a Dad fond of shotguns. Not a good idea.

RE: I dunno :O

You doing tricks again for a few cigarettes? rolling on the floor laughing I thought you has stopped that....

RE: joe cole

There is no point saying that if Liverpool had won more games they would have won the league. I could say that if United had won more games they would have won it by more points. United always held the upper hand.

You are right about last season. Lowest I expect them this season is 5th. Spurs are no great shakes, they just got 4th by default as nobody else was good enough. City have spent far too much money on too many average players. If (and it is a big if) Torres stays and is fit, Liverpool will be fine. I see United and Chelsea being the top 2 again.

The race for 4th is between Pool, City and Arsenal. The Fabregas situation might destabilize Arsenal, like in Henry's last season there. Villa have an outside chance, especially if they get 30 million+ for Milner and maybe Steven Ireland as part of the deal.

RE: Meath V Louth

Keenan is a midfielder, what does he have to do with Brogan? It is not soccer where a midfielder can control the game like Xavi would. Brogan can only be stifled by whoever is marking him.

RE: joe cole

Once Alonso left, all title hopes went with him. Liverpool were very much playing above their ability that season. That United were chasing an 18th title probably played a part in that.

And United were pretty much well clear for most of the run in. The anomaly of the 4-1 game was what brought the race back to life.
