He carried the ball over the line, he was not pushed as he claimed.
But I know he was talking just after the game and you can hardly blame him for what he said. I don't apportion any blame on Sheridan. He did what he did and it is up to the umpires and referee to make the decisions.
I'd rather the players get the money made from football instead of faceless suits in the boardroom.
It is very harsh on the majority of players that do not cheat on their wives to label with the same brush as Ashley Cole. Some men are decent, others are not. Whether they are paid for shoveling gravel or kicking a ball, that is not going to change. I feel strongly about this issue as it is annoying to see rugby players painted as angels and soccer players as all being awful, a**hole. I've met and heard about top players in both codes, and they each have their share of good and bad characters.
Anyways....this is the ant-football thread so return to discussing the merits of burly men versus muscly men! And I'll think about Shakira
I went to college with a lot of the lads at Leinster...believe me they get up to all sorts! You should see how they get through the girls at Coppers when they arrive en masse. And they would give any model a run for their money in the vanity stakes!
If they had the English press sniffing after them, they would have the same reputation
Well the victoria's secret line was more aimed at describing one type of a gender as being "real" whilst another is not. So I was actually saying that the models were real...you often hear snide remarks that they are not "real" women. Just because soccer players or models are not a certain body type does not mean they are not real!
I think you're right but hopefully they get something. How the umpire missed it I'll never know. It was one of the worst decisions I've seen in any sport!
I agree it was daylight robbery but I'd be very surprised if they get one. Galway were unlucky to lose to Wexford due to a dodgy penalty so the GAA may be opening a can of worms if they did award one. An horrible way for Louth to lose though. Such a robbery.
The idiot fans assaulting the ref have probably decreased the chances of a replay too.
I bet there will be a LOT of guys one here who would be happy to get that, especially as they often are sending the first email. So any unexpected mails or flowers are quite the bonus!
I know that for every 4 emails I would get, 3 are returning an email from me. And there can be some very lean weeks too.
I'd imagine that overall ladies receive a lot more mails and views. What you may consider to be low in a week, might be what a guy might get in a month (for some anyway).
I also imagine that assumption is made as men are often seen as being the ones who have to chase girls.
The ratings of mine are a bit skewed and random. One is at 8.5, another 6.4 and the other 5.41. So a bit of a mixture there! Plus some ratings are artificially high due to scammers and another was rated as 1 by 3 men...so I am not sure what that tells anybody!
So my advice is to ignore the ratings and send a few emails. From my short experience here, you will have to do the chasing!
RE: meath v louth
Hopefully Meath at their meeting tomorrow decide to offer a replay. The GAA cannot start awarding replays as it opens a can of worms.Having an interesting chat about it now on The Sunday Game.
