Sounds good... the second part is what to expect. Some things do not work out exactly as envisaged... not everything is in our control... so be open and appreciative of the experience no matter how it goes, if that's possible

Maybe start saving money and vacation days for the trip... but don't quit your job/sell your parents' house/trade in your car yet.

Too much too soon

I've come across a few folks in here who have announced being in love after a week of talking to each other, and folks who have arranged their marriage and their future together after a month. They didn't have the chance to meet, as they live in different continents.

I do wish these folks the best in their lives and that their love remains strong. However, I'm a bit skeptical/worried when things happen so fast, like we are in a hurry or something... maybe I'm wrong.

Do you think there is such a thing as too much too soon?

It's not about Star's conscience... it's about giving the little help she can... and that hasn't happened yet.

At some point she'll have to choose to risk the friendship and trust, in order to address the life-or-death issue.
