I've come across a few folks in here who have announced being in love after a week of talking to each other, and folks who have arranged their marriage and their future together after a month. They didn't have the chance to meet, as they live in different continents.
I do wish these folks the best in their lives and that their love remains strong. However, I'm a bit skeptical/worried when things happen so fast, like we are in a hurry or something... maybe I'm wrong.
Do you think there is such a thing as too much too soon?

well, I should be smart and cunning here ... and probably should drag the whole thing just as it`s suits me .....but I cant ....so, yes, I agree with your statement
you cant fall in Love with someone you never saw, touched or tasted...
And people who give up there Life and Jobs and Friends and rush into a relationship on the other side of the world dont get any sympathy from me if they come back and say * It didnt work out , but i gave up all for him/her.
I m not saying i wouldnt do it... I m just saying, that it not only will take a lot of time....I make sure I dont have to depend on him finance wise....because you never know. you might end up sleeping under a Bridge if you dont think it through

I tend to agree with much of what you say. I've seen that happen many, many times over the years and am always amazed that people can/will do that.
I've always said that you have one thing with internet communication..be it email, forums or live chat....that you do not have in "real life".....and that is....
....a backspace key!
The internet is great for contact, communication, etc etc. But making life altering decisions requires quality time in person...imo
personally i agree with your statement and more i care about a relationship, less i talk about it with others...i guess, it is a kind of protection in my case.. but every individual is different and acts differently.. love is one of the greatest thing that can happen in life, so i think that some people just like the idea of it regardless of the real situation but... i am in a hurry to meet, for instance...

Gosh This issue always freaks me out...I think its delusional...I dont think its possible to "fall in love" online. For me anyway, "love" is a deadly cocktail of chemistry, body nuance, and pheronomes...I think 99% of the time, it ends in heartbreak. Why is it peeps dont exercise the same common sense on the net that they would in real life? really beats me. Am I just a jaded cynic or something???
