This is the way of business, never ever eliminate a need for any of your products. even the fruit and garden produce had a longer life span. Now it grows bigger faster but once picked from the vine or garden it seems its consumability time frame has shrunk. As for medicine...... i cannot think of last time something was cured.......medications are now designed to ease the symptoms, not cure it... and the favorite phrase these pill makers give is if we cannot recoup our rersearch cost from this pill we will not be able to reserach any new diseases...how lame is that...
I agree completely , what once was consider a service to the country has become family business, passing the posiion on to their children or brother. give them the same insurance we have (Social Security). outlaw gifts andvacations and those seminars on global warming being held on the beaches. those conferences they (must) attend in vegas to discuss organized crime. I think a draft for political service would be a start.
I here many of the food products sent to areas like Africa and such are stolen or destroy by warring tribes and renegades and other nefarious individuals...the ruling governments even take away from those more in need.
they have placed so many restrictions on what a single individual can give and how they can give it...It is sad that many of those "Charity" organization, are only at best passing 60% of donations on to those in need. some so much less than that..using the guise of "operating cost". What is the law in your area about restuarants and fast food establishments giving leftovers away to needy and hmeless and the shelters.... here if the food is a cooked product it cannot be given... lets not memtion how much raw product is wasted because it is finanicail more prudent to actually throw away the food product then donate it... I believe that "individual" charity is at at its highest.. the problem is that all this individual charity is like using a garden hose on a 500 acre forest fire....It is sad that all these national and govrnment funded and non profit organization have such high and exsorbant operating costs. I myself help those within my own area and community. that a whole tomatoe is not divided into many parts the pewrson in need gets the whole donation not the scraps after operating costs, shipping , handling , inspection fees. to those poor unfortunates overseas, i empathize but my home and land have many in need to, check my government and how much of my social security they send to those poor infants and individuals... sorry look at my paycheck give weekly to those other unfortunates overseas ...what else i have to give will be given to those in my area... this may appear cold hearted, but it is...........just an opinion

Ahh the art/game of flirting...... harmless flirting ?? who judges this. just yeatrday i saw a person who basicaaly showed up at pub/bar just to meet this flitatous individual...but to this person it was not harmless it was preceived as a promise of future encounters...she left crying because she heard people talking about the man.... harmless flirting is like driving 50 miles home then boss calling you and ask how the jobsite is looking and you just respond "jobsite is looking good from my backyard boss"
Geesh, I know a married couple that go out on weekends and flirt with strangers all nite while each watch the other. they say it is most stimulating for them both when they get home.

Men and women both in the past fought for every dime and insurance coverage/option they got. Do Ithink that the equality issues have gotten out of hand yes ..yes...yes. when we as individuals start demanding equal treatment from our date and partners ie. Dinners, gifts, etc.etc. so sad ,I laugh.
Ladies from my side of the fence you had more power(control) over the actions and response of men who have fallen in love with you....and I'm sure you'll say the same.. this is the reason Equality is a state of mind....we do this, you prefer to do that. What stick do you measure by cost , length of time needed, the surrouhnding of the event. or plain and simple you went and had your hair done. I choose to get a simple cut and golf. Who is better off? Who got more? Equality in our own private relationships should never be measured by others. here's equality for you ...some women wish they were men and some men wish they could be women why ? Both genders think the other has it better......both of the genders are wanting something....Equal wants................... just an opinion
OTR helped destroy my marriage.... just like women who fall in love with carreer military( Navy) they are a rare find. I do not know if you are a independent or dedicated run driver... I would return to the road if I had a woman who also wanted to drive truck.... 24/7 we would be together...or switch who stays home and who does the run. Being an independent team could and would allow you to enjoy more of the benefits of the truck driving lifestyle. otherwise than that....sweethearts scattered across the land, or as you live now....
I've had more than one two many less than enjoyable experiences when coming to the house, prefer other options first... especially when it's the first time and they travelling with luggage... just an opinion
