First dates should take place in a room similar to a prison visiting room. There's glass between you. You each have a phone receiver. If it starts going downhill, you just signal the guard to remove the person.

Actually it did happen....I was interviewed for a position by a beautiful woman. Several hours later, I ran into her at a party, we hit it off. I got the job. Never saw her again.
Dating is like a job interview that lasts most of the night. The only difference between the two is you don't end up naked at the end of a job interview. Well hopefully not.
