I did receive the above questionnaire and I assume by mistake. However, it just so happens that I have a surplus of C-4 high density explosives (8000 lbs) If you are willing to trade for whatever, just post to me here.
I could cross over to the US any time, anywhere. As I please. And reek havoc. So can terrorists. It's a new era, no longer a war of uniformed troops attacking.
Faced with dwindling support of the Iraq War, the warhawks are redoubling their efforts. They imply the US are in Iraq attacking those who attacked the US, and yet this is not the case. As we know, Saddam Hussein, though not a particularly savory character, had nothing to do with 9/11. The neo-cons claim surrender should not be an option. In the same breath they claim the US was attacked because of its freedoms. Why then, are they so anxious to surrender these freedoms with legislation like the Patriot Act, a repeal of the 4th amendment rights, executive orders, and presidential signing statements? With politicians like these, who needs terrorists? Do they think if the US destroys its own freedoms for the terrorists they will no longer have a reason to attack the US? The present government does not have a monopoly on patriotic courage.
Truer words have been spoken, but not as briefly. Would Americans, British, Canadians want Saudi Arabians, Pakistanis policing us, with troops on every street corner ? NOT.
The US has only been attacked twice; Pearl Harbour and 9/11. Since then the US has walked the world with a big stick, threatening any country that doesn't see things the way that the Pentagon sees it.
Conrad Black, a renowned Canadian business mogul was sentenced today in Chicago to 6.5 years for stealing 32 million, although they only charged him with 8 million. What bothers me is that he shows no remorse at all. He blames everyone else. The greed factor; here's a guy worth hundreds of millions, yet breaks the law and gives up his freedom for a chance to add a few more million to his wallet. I mean, you only have one stomach, when it's full it's full. His millions now will only do one thing, keep him in chocolate bars in prison.
Yes big-time. Ended up stranded with my ex., and daughter in Oaxaca and Mexico city for 4 weeks before I got things straightened out. Most have credit cards, few read the 2000 words of small print.
RE: I thank those who have tolerated my presence.
