Kiss Me

Kiss me
With deep passion
Hold nothing back from me
Don’t worry about tomorrow
For now is the moment we have to share
Let your lips speak words of your heart
Words not always needed
Close your eyes and
Kiss me

CS Friend

A tear in my eye
An ache in my heart
Let me take you
Back to the start
You said hello
And made me smile
You asked can we chat
If but for a while
I learned of you
And you of me
A bond was forged
It still pulls at me
No matter what happens
Or where things go
There’s just one thing
You need to know
You have my heart
Until the end
Forever you remain
A very dear friend

About this poem:
Although there are scammers here on CS or those who tell lies and play games with emotions, there sometimes is one you connect with in a way that you cannot explain. A tear of happiness, an ache for things that hold us apart, a smile knowing that feelings are mutual.

The last walk of lovers

They walked through the dense forest
Fingers entwined against swaying palms
Wildflower scented breezes filled the air
As dusk set upon the world
On they walked into the night
No cares as to where they were headed
Hand in hand and smiles on faces
The darkness over took the sky
Growing weary they laid to rest
Wrapped in the warmth of each others’ arms
As the sun arose in the morning
Just a faint memory of the night remained
In the silhouette on the tamped grass
At the edge of the glade
Where now two wildflowers remain
Entangled as two lovers might be

Mystical Waters

Warm sand beneath my feet
Surf rolling in to lick my toes
Sun heating my bare skin
And leaving marks upon my nose

Dipping into the ocean
The sun colors the sky
Cotton streaked clouds
Watching seagulls fly

Air begins to cool the night
This is my favorite time
Put your arm around me, Love
And let me know your mine

Protector (Rictameter)

Careless
Is there concern
For emotions I shared
As the protector of my heart
I believe you have miserably failed
Bruised and scarred, it constantly aches
I will leave you, to heal
Protect myself
My heart

Shared Dreams

Her eyes are closed in blessed slumber
A smile etched across her face
Dreams dance through her mind
Memories of the night just shared
Silken sheets tangled amongst
Skin bared and left revealing
A breeze floats through the open window
Stirring the wisps of hair from her brow
Stretching and waking, I watch her from a distance
The wanton look in her eyes as she finds me
Pulls me to her warmth like a magnetic charge
To her arms where she lay waiting
Encircling me, to take me back to fill our dreams together

Hopeless (Rictameter)

Hopeless
It never is
Truly the end to me
There will be happiness again
Sadness will never overcome my life
Darkened clouds will lead to blue skies
Rainbows will fill the day
No, I won’t be
Hopeless

Me

Some people don’t understand me
Yet others just don’t seem to care
Friends take the time for listening
My family will always be there
And yet when I love myself
There’s nothing else can compare

The Old Park Bench

The park bench calls to me
Old weathered wood with knots
Worn to silken smoothness from time
Inviting me to sit and share a moment
The green grass soothes my bare feet
Poking through my toes with tickling sensations
Moisture cooling the heat from within
Sending refreshing calm throughout me
Rustling branches of aged trees rattle
Weary with age yet standing firm and tall
Swaying in the rhythmic fashion of dancers
To the music of the wind, thick with humidity
Heavy thoughts bounce through my mind
Leaving a trail of pictures and memories
Yet none so clear, as those shared with you
Sitting here, on this old weathered bench

Lover's Lane

I took a walk down lover’s lane
But this time I walked alone
My eyes wide open to see it all
The happiness, the wonder, the pain.

There were those with tears
Waiting to be released
The path they took
Was filled with only fears

Others strolled on hand in hand
Sharing all the beautiful sights
Enjoying each moment they shared
For them, time made no demand

Lover’s Lane was meant for two
But today I enjoyed the view
Happy with the one I am and
To my own heart be true
