Some people don’t understand me
Yet others just don’t seem to care
Friends take the time for listening
My family will always be there
And yet when I love myself
There’s nothing else can compare

Thanks Swade for you kind comment. Not only do I think it is ok to love oneself I think it is a gift that most people do not give themselves. Who cares about an imperfection of physical being, love the person you are and the one you can become!

Hi Cloudy,

The question is...is it sugary sweet love? I agree that every healthy person should have a degree of self love. All of us are the centre of our own little universes and the opposite which is self hate can be completely destructive. An interesting take on this one. Thanks for posting.
