Once upon a black sheep

"Do you remember, when I was six, you told me I was a mistake"
you miscarried before me, but I took their place...

"you made it clear right from the start, my life would not be easy, your words of resent, so true and so stark"

"you beat me regularly, often within an inch of my life...but with each time i survived you came back harder, determined with hatred and blind rage, you cut me sharper than the sharpest knife"

"A young boy contemplating suicide, and wishing himself to die, born without love, or emotions, and with no family ties"

"And now, a man I have become, strong, sensitive, and working with the deprived, my own experiences ensuring that in your own childhood, you indeed shall strive"

"Now you seek me out with your welcoming arms spread far and wide, and why, because I have made my mark, a successful Author am i"

"I forgive you my mother and my father, but fold your arms now, hang them by your side, for that little boy you made suffer has long since died"

Had me a dream

Had me a dream once, my vocation it surely was...
To put a smile on children's faces, a just and worthy cause

To you, God, I asked to make this dream come true
And if it be granted, then my promise was to keep my faith in you

You thought about it long and hard with a scare or two along the way
But you came good in the end, to my surprise I have to say

So here I am working with God's Angel's, in one form or another
Smiles on their faces as well as mine, saving them from harm, pain, neglect and any other

This dream you granted was more than I could ask
Instead you gifted me with another wonderous task

You gave me the power to write childrens story books, illustrations and happy stories to read them....to fall asleep with smiles on their faces, and for this, and to you, I'll say Amen.....

My journey continues, and how blessed am I, to have been given my vocation, not once but twice....So my promise is kept, my faith remains it seem's.....your gift to me is priceless and gratefully recieved.....

I had me a dream....

Your Breath of Air

"your scented breath of air, your inner innocence you share"
Our lips so close to each others, we long to kiss but neither of us will dare...

"Your quivering lips so red and pure, I feel myself weaken, your taste I long to share, of that I am sure.."

"I pull you near, and hold you firm, with my hands of safety around your face, I feel your breath, this is it...we kiss so gently, but with passion and greed"

"your taste now firmly mixed with mine, our breath entwined together in time.."

"We gently pull apart, with lips warm and moist...with your breath now inside me, this feeling so new..for now I am complete, a feeling that compares with few.. In heaven I now am, as now my darling, I breath you"

The one that got away

Gone fishing, won't be back till late, gonna catch me a big un, boy I just can't wait

Been trying for years to catch this fish, it's as big as my arm, if not a foot longer, this time i'm gonna win, i'm leaner, fitter and stronger

Hours passed by, not a bite in sight, until the line jerked, i've got it I yelled!!!...and reeled him in with all my might

I raised my line and to my suprise, it was a tiddler on the end, a finger bite size..

'This is not good' I said with a sigh, how can I go back empty handed with just this tiddler, not enough to fill a pie

I headed back home with an empty basket, my dreams of catching the big un, it would of filled a casket

Took me a detour and went to the pub, wanted to quench my thirst to drown my sorrows, no catch, no pike, not even a chub

Still, I thought, a tall tale wouldn't go astray, I'll tell the lads in the local about the one that got away

'Oooh, it was as big as a house I said, I struggled so much I fell in the lake, I was such a mess

By the time I'd finished the story, you'd have thought I cought good old Ness....Or should I say Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster!!!

Lost Loves

"Paused in thought recollecting the past whilst sat on soft white marshmallow sands, the sky tinted and bathed in golden crusted sunset"

"I recall the fair maidens I once loved and lost, the love we once shared will live long in my memory, no regrets or rues for they were meant to be, tenderness once shared, all so passionately remembered with happiness recalled so tenderly"

"Hands held together with fingers interlocked, stolen kisses with intermitent glances, with every opportunity we took to make love, anywhere and everywhere we took our risky sultry chances"

"Silly little games together we would play, teasing and flirting led to passionate affection and displays"

"Sat in front of open fires, logs were smouldering and heating our desires...Tickling and playfights with each others pillows, you were my wind and I was your willow"

"Hand in hand walks beneath the glow of moon and stars, strolls in the rain, splashing in puddles with muddied feet, the long walk back home without a care in the world, with no concept of time, life was oh so simple and sweet"

"Times when we would look at each other in silence when words were not needed, our words of devotion and love were jealously upheld and intensly heeded"

"So to all who have loved and lost, do not lose yourselves in despair, instead we must relish the loves who have past, remember those we loved with fondness, those so feminine and fair"

To all those who have loved and lost..Look back on it fondly and gratefully, for their are others who have yet to experience true love.

Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all...

Testing Our Faith

"So much tragedy in the world, with innocent people dying, earthquakes, Tsunami, and wars, brings me to my knees, racked with anger, frustration and anguished crying"

"Why my Lord do you test our faith, with such ferocity, pain and relentless suffering...Can't you see in our eyes that we can take no more, show us a miracle so our faith will remain unwavering"

"Why test our faith in such a tragic and inhumane manner, when you could easily reverse this by destroying evil, hunger, murder and every evil other"

"Can you not see your Kingdom is crumbling, your disciples are fewer with lost faith, and little understanding...Talk to us and let us know you're real, help us to forgive ourselves for our ignorance and petty greedy zeal"

"No sooner do you bring life into the world with a newborn son or daughter, bringing rapturous joy and merryment.. then in the same breath you remove this life and take back what you gave us, only to watch us crumble to our knees, in heaped despair and in defeat, testing our faith, you dare us"...

"My faith remains for now my Lord, but I fear it's fast fading..I don't wish to lose this faith, but inside i am slowly dying...I don't want, and I don't need, just an understanding, any sort will do, and I promise you this, with my word and my bond..my faith will remain true and unto you.."

!The Crippled Wise Old Man Said.....

"The wise old man said..'there are two types of anger my friend, explosive and implosive'....don't riddle with me wise man I said, get to the point and be narrative, explain yourself, stop being evasive..

"I am a wise man for a reason, so please be patient with me...you'll be better off in life if you just listen to me, wait and see"...

"Such impatience for one so young, you remind me of me, carried me a gun in my waist, wanted to put the world to right, my gun, my self ritious attitude and me"

"Go ahead then wise old man, fill me with your history, don't nibble on the barrel, pull the trigger and let me hear your tall story"

"Okay young buck, here it is...went to McDonald's on a day when I was penniless, brave, stupid and absolutely fearless"

"I want a Big Mac just like in the picture, all plump and full with all the trimmings, don't scam with a bun with a gurhkin and soggy fillings"

"Here you are sir, that'll be £2.99, as he handed me a carton, anything else for you sir..'no..that'll be just fine"

"Opened me the box, what the hell is this i said..it's flat as a pancake, it's nothing like the picture, there's no shape to it, where's the big thick burger, and the juicy tomato and relish that go's with it?

"Pulled my gun from my waist and demanded to speak to Ronald McDonald, and not the management..wanted justice, fairness, a burger not a waffle"

"I'm sorry sir but Ronalds gone home, the cheeky little bugger said..All i had was a feeling to shoot this pointless squirt in the middle of his forehead"

"A struggle ensued with me and son of Ronald...we fall to the floor, the gun go's off, I moaned and groaned, just like in the picture, i wanted a McDonald's....

"So here I am young Buck, crippled for life and wheelchairbound, for that bullet shot through my spine...justice was served of course for my stupid fearless act of crime...and since that day I swore to myself and made a lifelong pact....

If you want a big fat burger, make it yourself.......

A friend I shall remain

"Is it so wrong to speak your mind, to be honest in your thoughts and to be honest and kind"

"Accept me for who I am for I am true and open minded, I am tired of being misunderstood, you make me weep, you leave me blinded"

"Be proud you have a friend like me, who will listen, who does not judge and encourages you to be free..I offer you words of wisdom, experience, I do my best to fill your days with joy and glee"

"Direct your anger and frustration towards me, it's ok, for I know you don't really mean it....sometimes it is best to reach rock bottom, for only then can you see that you will rise again, and maybe higher than you ever expected"

"I'll never change, I like who I am, a strong but sensitive being, take it, for I am offering you my hand....I'll not walk ahead of you, neither will I walk behind you, but side by side we will stroll, together, adding humor and laughter..Tears..they will be few"

"So trudge along grudgingly my friend if that is what you wish, I'll not give up on you, I'll wait patiently, your deserved life I will unleash"

"Now you will reap lifes wonderful delights, the smell of nature, and the worlds most astounding sights...This is what you have been missing, the simplicity of it all, and should you ever trip and tumble, I'll always be there to catch your fall"

In memory

"I miss you my friend, you left us so suddenly, leaving lives empty, a void you have left, memories recalling, but with sadness and sullenly"

"I miss your 4am wakening thuds at my door, 'what are you doing asleep, there is so much more to do!'..you would roar"

"You were best man at my wedding, that's how close we were..always joking and laughing, mayhem you would cause, a mischief maker and prankster, you caused quite a stir"

"Remember when we were in Cyprus, we roamed the market stalls where live stock were sold, you would unlock the chicken pens which caused a riot, so funny and so bold"

"I am writng this for you as your friend, in memory and anniversary, you are in my thoughts, your friends and family remember you..no adversary's"

"I wish you were still here, close and among us..but I'm sure your in a better place watching over and above us"

"I have a tight hug waiting for you, a bonded handshake which is long overdue.....Until that day comes my friend I'll remember you strongly, with a mixture of joy and sadness, family and friends will raise a glass or two and celebrate your life, remembering you fondly"

"Imagine"

"Have you ever spread your arms out wide, with your eyes closed and imagined you were flying high...the freedom it brings with just the sky for company, your imaginary wings sponging through the clouds like a soft, sweet playing symphany"

"Soaring way up high, leaving you troubles behind, not a care in the world, just you, the blue sky, and the hazy sunshine entwined"

"To be able to lay floating on a soft white cloud, with your arms folded back and hands tucked behind your head, a serene smile across your face, trouble free and with everything making sense, this tonight you say will be my bed, this is where i'll rest and lay my head"

"What a glorious feeling suspended in mid air, the luxury to spread your wings, there's no feeling like it, it's peace and purity, the innocence of nature's air"

"So close your eyes when you need to escape, float and fly, whenever the need takes you, spread your wings, let them not be clipped, soar high and mighty, choose your cloud and rest your wonderful, weary head"

Natures Beauty

"A slow carefree stroll I took through the wild open forest...
the heavens opened and rain lashing down, standing still I look to the sky, arms spread in welcome awe with a smile and no trace of a frown...

"My body now soaked in the purest of rain, I fall to my knees and with both hands I scoop drenched fallen leaves, I press them to my face and inhale their odour, this is life, nature with it's wildest aroma..

"I lay myself down onto the leafy earth, I roll around like a playful child and embrace it's innocence, moisture, beauty and worth..

"I lay myself still with eyes closed and dreaming, not a sign of menace, cunning or scheming...

"In another world must I be, surrounded by nature, singing birds, animals of the wild in all their purity...

"Tis here tonight that I will lay my hat, for I will sleep amongst nature in all it's glory and splendure...for I know as a living being this is the closest thing to heaven on earth that I am seeing...
