I am the eagle as he flies,
See through his eyes as if they were mine,
My vision increases a thousand times,
I glide for what seems like hours,
Wild with primal power,
I dive to devour a rabbit,
Heard it squeal as dove to grab it,
The claws pierce flesh,
The fresh meat,
Blood drips from beak as I eat,
What a treat,
A life of ease,
Vast in simplicities,
Amazing in complexities,
No wants just necessities,
Humans are blessed to be on this earth,
Often given a gift we dont deserve,
This game seems absurd and fake,
Sometimes I need a break,
Sometimes I need to escape...

It's a black and twisted sun today,
Super cold, subzero rays,
Hurt me in a thousand ways,
Like microscopic stabbing pains,
From razor sharp electric blades,
Feeling like I'm froze in place,
My entire body becoming solid,
One leg breaks from walking on it,
Shattered to a million shards,
And as I fall I break an arm,
The frozen blood then reached my heart,
It tried to pump and fell apart,
My spine just simply snaps in half,
As every bone my body has,
buckles creaks and fissure cracks,
And pieces fly like broken glass,
Too many to add with fractal math,
On this day I watched my demise,
The picture framed inside my mind,
Staring blankly dead inside,
Ice crystal eyes see the black sun rise...

There was a man so very depressed,
He could not sleep,
He could not rest,
With so much stress upon his chest,
One day the wave came to a crest,
He'd tried his best,
But failed the test,
Lifes mess had left him unimpressed,
Without a word to anyone,
He held his only friend,
His gun,
And put a bullet through his head,
Now that man is dead...

I love the sound of your name,
It drives me insane,

It's like when you're at the carnival,
You see the big fancy rides with the loops and whoops,
While some people are obviously having a great time,
Others are screaming,
Some even crying...,
You can see it from beginning to end from your point of view...,
All the highs and lows,
Ups and downs of the whole roller coaster,
You can imagine what it's like as if you are there doing it...,
So now you dont have to ride it...,
That's how I see life...as a giant amusement park,
I look at the long lines and sometimes some rides dont seem like that they'd be that much fun...

Depression,
Has ahold of me,
Like it's the only thing i need,
Darkness,
There until the end,
Often it's my only friend,
The shadows enveloping all around,
Making the sweetest most beautiful sound,
Light tries to shine inside my stronghold,
But the devils keep the curtains closed,
So noone knows the constant struggle,
Trapped here in this blackest of bubbles...

No care for the hour,
No matter which day,
Overcast clouds,
Threatening rain,
Dark skies heavy,
Cloaked in gloom,
Showers falling,
Thunder booms,
Drenching,
Pouring,
Full on monsoon,
Alone in my room,
The shadows encroach,
I see them,
Feel them,
Hear them approach,
With so little hope for a brighter day,
I listen to the taps of the rain,
Tap tap tapping at my window pane...

I think of you and smile wide,
But every smile is only a lie,
To hide the hurt I feel inside,
Sleepless nights and tired eyes,
I think about you all the time,
I think of you and only cry,
I think of you and want to die,
I thought of you and wrote this rhyme,
Smiling the entire time...

I was sleeping in dream state,
I was with you,
We were alone,
It was only us two,
Deep in my sleep I was holding you close,
It was then that I awoke,
With tearing eyes and closing throat,
I gasped aloud and almost choked,
As if surrounded by clouds of smoke,
The waves cascaded and my heart broke,
I realized that I was alone,
That it was only me inside my home,
And you were gone forever more,
Grief shaking my very core,
I only wished to go back to sleep,
Where we were happy and you were with me...

Looking for the perfect rose,
Following the sunsets glow,
Walking on this winding road,
Leading me away from home,
I still have a ways to go and
I can't tell how far I've roamed,
I know the path I travel's slow,
The journeys hard a cold wind blows,
See I've been searching high and low,
Through deserts, plains, and wooded groves,
On mountain tops through deepest snows,
The desperation only grows,
I ask the powers above and below,
Will this endless quest ever close?,
Will I forever be alone...?
