I don't know who you're talking about but I hope you can point them out to me. I'd hate to be caught unaware. I'll look after you.

Reminds me of the Racing commercial....

... this is just a thought for the readers (and the OP) to consider ... in 'trawling' this site I noticed that "chat rooms" can be created ... my 'irregular' brain thought "hey, a chat room might work in allowing 'lurkers' and silent viewers to interact, to become comfortable and perhaps ... register for the event" ... this is just an idea, I'm a "newbie" so I realise I don't know squeak, but I put it to you for comment ... sort of a nothing ventured, nothing gained type of thing. Timing would need to be decided ... eg 10-11pm every night might work, but would that be good for the West Aust folk (due to time diff) ... manning of the chat room would have to be assured (suggest at least 2 'members' who would keep the room 'alive' and meet and greet any who entered) ... bottom line is that the chat room would be respectful, decent, helpful ... and informative about the event ... I for one would be happy to 'man' (or should that be person? ... ... the chat room, no agenda, just trying to help) ... 'nuff fer now, over to all for comment

Gee good thoughts.. I like the idea... I see some personnel management issues but if you can get it rolling.. make it manageable and appealing you would be on a winner..
From my limited experience on here.. people are too sporadic with their times and tend to congregate in the threads..
There is nothing stopping you from giving this a go though ..its got merit and great potential.
