love is ..
well, for me love is when you like the person you are when you are with someone. If you feel happy and sleek and sexy, no pangs of doubt, and are totally at ease, and that lasts, well, if it isn't love, it is close enough for me. But then I am very superficial.

I think it may be 'old age'? lol
I agree 100% with your first statement and would like to add sharing comfortable silences often speaks louder than words. Those to me are very important factors in a long lasting relationship. Words are not always necessary to convey emotions.
Someone had famously written that 'often we find words thinning compared to the density of human experience'. Emotions conveyed through silence are much deeper than the ones spoken aloud.
Interesting interpretation of love.... love for yourself perhaps, but no mention of love for the person you are getting these loving feelings from.
Funny (strange) how men talk about the depth of love they feel for women but women talk about how they feel when receiving love. Does this mean that only men have the capacity to love or does a man simply show their love to women so that women can feel good with themselves?
Once the ice is broken the woman is free to spill the beans on how she really feels.
I doubt that this is so true of the way things are done today. I guess no-one would waste the time. Maybe that's why youngsters can more easily take rejection, they simply ask for it. ie rejection that is!!!
But (she adds snidely, looking at your last blog) I don't need to look at pictures to know I'm happy
Quits, now, stop making rude comments on each other's blogs? Agree to disagree?
I think it is a huge compliment for a man when a woman feels that way as it simply means he brings out the best in her. When I feel that way when I'm with a man it means I am head over heels for him and would cherish and protect that love with my whole being
Enjoy!
