The longest day..!
So, today we come to 21st June,2016 again.....the longest day of the year!!!? Well, I remember the times, one would relish and be out the whole day with friends or family...Sadly, today, here in India, the monsoon has set in and it' s foggy and drizzly slightly....not likely to be sunny with no chance for us to watch the twilight that never seemed to end like the old days....

how we are being dumbed down
I have not even given this a lot of thought and I do not even know if there is a point to this. I think perhaps it is just to stimulate possible postulating. I just started a new book and only on chapter one. It has to do with physics and its link to Eastern Mysticism. The little bit I have read has gotten me thinking a bit. I was fascinated to hear that mathematics is a language of nature, only thing with symbols. Also how our spoken language is only a guide of sorts to efficiently understand one another. It would take way to long to describe every aspect of a tree, or a person. Not to mention, it would be impossible...so we use tree or person to describe that object. This is all we are taught to care about and understand. But what is a person? ...or a tree for that matter. Both are made up of matter and both have this mysterious energy force connected to them.
Okay, this is just about as far as I got with my thinking...lol.
But,
I left the best for last. At least to me it is, there was a saying I read in the book.
"The map is not the territory."
It is like we are taught how to identify and read the map, but we never go seeking for the territory.
...thus, we are being dumbed down.

Nat. Geo. King Tut
While doing my work, the television was still on the Channel it was on earlier in the day, National Geographic. I don't usually watch that channel and am not very familiar with their programs. But last night, I found they had a very interesting show on having to do with King Tut and the contents of his tomb. There were a lot of things they mentioned on that show that went against common belief about the King himself. However, what I found even more interesting, they were showing items never seen before. Of these things never shown before, there were two items that just stuck out to me...and to the creators of the show also.
They each had their own sarcophagus. There were two "babies" buried with Tut.
Where do I go from here....hmm. If I only knew how to upload images of these so-called babies, I am sure one could guess where I a going.
I believe I shared this story on here once before, but here is just a quick rendition of it. About 20-ish years ago, living in the countryside of America, with my nearest neighbor about a 1/4 mile away, something dug up a single plant I had. The previous day I planted it, and surround it with vegetation...the darn thing was only 2" tall. After I was done planting it, I could not even see it myself.
But, anyway, I knew the exact area it was. The next day I go out to that exact area to check on it...to only find a freshly dug hole. A hole probably 10" wide by about 8" deep...nothing huge. The dirt from the hole was sitting off to one side and in that fresh dirt was a footprint the exact shape of a human's footprint....the heal, the arch, the toes, and the wedge shape. Dumbfounded by this, I thought to myself, if this was a human that did this, most likely there should be fingertip marks on the walls of the hole. I checked that, and sure enough, there were small rounded tip marks that had scraped and running down vertically the walls of the hole.
I asked my gf if I could borrow the birth certificate of her son's....because it had his infant footprint on it. I took it out there and compared it, not only did it look identical but it was also the same size. I figured whatever dug out that hole was the size of a newborn.
Okay, now back to the show. Both of the "babies" they claim, were still born and were Tut's unborn children. I am not an expert on what stillborn babies look like. But, I have seen a couple of UFO shows in the past few years where people who claimed to have seen aliens described what they seen to artists and sketches have been drawn of those people's accounts. In my opinion, the "baby" on the right (since the only thing that really exists are photos of Tut's "unborn babies," you can see which one I am referring to) looks pretty much identical to these artist's alien drawings. The only thing that does not match, is the height of them.
The thing that baffles me...even the show creators found these never shown beings significant...why were they never shown before? In addition, why were they not better preserved? Anyway.....

Apparently these very early forms of life, are eukaryotes.
This means that unlike bacteria, they have complex cells that contain specialized organelles.

Canadian researchers have discovered a new kind of organism that's so different from other living things that it doesn't fit into the plant kingdom, the animal kingdom, or any other kingdom used to classify known organisms.
Two species of the microscopic organisms, called hemimastigotes, were found in dirt collected on a whim during a hike in Nova Scotia by Dalhousie University graduate student Yana Eglit.
A genetic analysis shows they're more different from other organisms than animals and fungi (which are in different kingdoms) are from each other, representing a completely new part of the tree of life, Eglit and her colleagues report this week in the journal Nature.
"They represent a major branch… that we didn't know we were missing," said Dalhousie biology professor Alastair Simpson, Eglit's supervisor and co-author of the new study.
"There's nothing we know that's closely related to them."
In fact, he estimates you'd have to go back a billion years — about 500 million years before the first animals arose — before you could find a common ancestor of hemimastigotes and any other known living things.
The hemimastigotes analyzed by the Dalhousie team were found by Eglit during a spring hike with some other students along the Bluff Wilderness Trail outside Halifax a couple of years ago. She often has empty sample vials in her pockets or bags, and scooped a few tablespoons of dirt into one of them from the side of the trail.
Back at the lab, she soaked the soil in water, which often revives microbes that have gone dormant, waiting for the next big rainstorm. Over the next few weeks, she checked on the dish through a microscope to see what might be swimming around.
Then, one day, about three weeks later, she saw something that caught her eye — something shaped like the partially opened shell of a pistachio. It had lots of hairs, called flagella, sticking out. Most knomicrobes with lots of flagella move them in co-ordinated waves, but not this one, which waved them in a more random fashion.
"It's as if these cells never really learned that they have many flagella," Eglit said with a laugh. She had seen something with that strange motion once before, a few years ago, and recognized it as a rare hemimastigote.
Hemimastigotes were first seen and described in the 19th century. But at that time, no one could figure out how they fit into the evolutionary tree of life. Consequently, they've been "a tantalizing mystery" to microbiologists for quite a long time, Eglit said.

you may want to look to the north eastern sky tonight.
It is the peak night for the Perseid Meteor Shower viewing, as long as it is not cloudy where you are.
The best viewing time is 2 am until dawn, when you may see up to
100 shooting 'stars' or more per hour.
Even if you can't be awake that early in the morning, you can probably see a few
after midnight, or even a couple after 10 pm.

This comet is the biggest thing that the earth comes close to.

can science be a bad thing?
The immediate answer to this question is yes. But just how bad can science really get? Of course all of our weapons were developed from science. Then there are many great things that science has produced. How about science holding us back from realizing our true nature on this planet? There are so many things out there that science cannot explain.
I am watching Ancient Aliens on the History Channel and I keep hearing repeatedly, episode after episode, science cannot explain this or that, or the other. We as conditioned humans just automatically do not put much credence into these things and just somewhat ignore them. What if there is something out there that is right under our noses and because of the limitations of current science, we are ignoring some sort of important message.
What about those crop circles?....just to name one.

Ground Control to Major Tom...
I saw a story today about the long-term weightless effects on the human body. Astronauts returning after months aboard the International Space Station had swollen optic nerves, slightly flattened eyeballs that caused changes in vision. Some developed blood clots.
If you recall in science class, some of the veins in the legs have one-way valves called the venous pump. Researchers are finding blood flow while in orbit becomes irregular and fluids that are normally held down by gravity now float to the head, increasing pressure to the skull.
I guess they need to invent the gravity machine that was on the Starship Enterprise so no one goes floating around the bridge!

On Saturday the Food and Drug Administration approved the use of two antimalarial drugs, hydroxychloroquine and a related medication, chloroquine, for emergency use to treat COVID-19. The drugs were touted by President Trump as a “game changer” for COVID-19.
However, a study just published in a French medical journal provides new evidence that hydroxychloroquine does not appear to help the immune system clear the coronavirus from the body. The study comes on the heels of two others - one in France and one in China - that reported some benefits in the combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin for COVID-19 patients who didn’t have severe symptoms of the virus.
I am a medicinal chemist who has specialized in discovery and development of antiviral drugs for the past 30 years, and I have been actively working on coronaviruses for the past seven. I am among a number of researchers who are concerned that this drug has been given too much of a high priority before there is enough evidence to show it is indeed effective.
There are already other clinical studies that showed it is not effective against COVID-19 as well as several other viruses. And, more importantly, it can have dangerous side effects, as well as giving people false hope. The latter has led to widespread shortages of hydroxychloroquine for patients who need it to treat malaria, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, the indications for which it was originally approved.
The idea that the combination of hydroxychloroquine with an antibiotic drug, azithromycin, was effective against COVID-19 gained more attention after a study published on March 17. This study described a trial of 80 patients carried out by Philippe Gautret in Marseille, France. Although some of their results appeared to be encouraging, it should also be noted that most of their patients only had mild symptoms. Furthermore, 85% of the patients didn’t even have a fever – one of the major telltale symptoms of the virus, thus suggesting that these patients likely would have naturally cleared the virus without any intervention.
In another study, posted on medRxiv, which has not yet been peer-reviewed, Chinese scientists from Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, in Wuhan, China, gave hydroxychloroquine to patients with only mild infections who were free of medical issues, similar to the Gautret study. The results showed that the 31 patients who received the drug showed a lessening of their symptoms 24 hours earlier than patients in the control group. In addition, pneumonia symptoms improved in 25 of the 31 patients versus 17 of 31 in the control group. As noted in several of the comments associated with the manuscript, there are issues related to the translation of the paper, thus clouding interpretations of some of the results. The paper also appears to focus more on pneumonia than COVID-19. However, these issues may be cleared up or addressed once the paper finishes the peer-review process.
But two other studies have conflicting results.
A second French group, led by Jean-Michel Molina, has now tested the hydroxychloroquine-azithromycin combination treatment in 11 patients at the Hôpital Saint-Louis in Paris, France, and their results were strikingly different.
Like the Marseille study, the Molina trial was also a small pilot study. Molina and colleagues used the same dosing regimen as Gautret. In contrast, however, to the Gautret study, eight of the 11 patients had underlying health conditions, and 10 of 11 had fevers and were quite ill at the time the dosing began.

Like the Marseille study, the Molina trial was also a small pilot study. Molina and colleagues used the same dosing regimen as Gautret. In contrast, however, to the Gautret study, eight of the 11 patients had underlying health conditions, and 10 of 11 had fevers and were quite ill at the time the dosing began.
