Fire is an Equal Opportunity Killer! This one is Dedicated to ALL of our Firefighters, Fallen in Honor, or Standing Proud!
Too hot to go outside, so I wrote this poem instead. Life brings both sunshine and rain, might as well enjoy them both as best we can.

its not good to live only for money...
Why have so many secrets what do you have to hide is it just your regrets or is it that you lied You talk so long and often and plan a rendezvous. Hearts begin to soften, thoughts of what could ensue. When things are left unsaid and clos
Okay, so it was way more than three casts, and well past dawn before I got my limit... I caught two on the first two casts and got overly optimistic. It took hours to get that ever-elusive third fish. All fisherman are not necessarily liars, we just don't let the truth get in the way of a good fish story - or poem...
Ok..So I'm up early this morning..lol
Parody of one of my favorite show songs, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? I think it would be funny to have a show with high school dropouts as the kids helping some contestant answer the questions.
I wrote "The junk collector`s bedtime story"simply to put into words what is one favorite American pastime. As a part time flea market vendor,I just hate to see anything good going to waste. If I find stuff that nobody else wants,I will find out why they got rid of it.If I can fix it,OK.I might use it,keep it,sell it,or trade it.If nothing else, use it for parts to repair other stuff. Some stuff that`s no good I might still save to use as an example to match up replacement parts. If I find something and then discover that its` completely worthless,I can always just put it back where I found it.What really gets me is that people throw stuff out 5 minutes before they need it,only for me to fix it and sell it right back to them. The resale value is ultimately, only as much as what people are willing to pay.But if you have a lot of good used items,if you sell it for a cheap price, you won`t be able to sell it fast enough.

After the death of a friend who was also a song writer and singer, this set of lyrics popped into my head, along with a tune, while I was thinking of my departed friend "Mr. James". I felt like he was singing it to me.
Maybe this is the answer to that age old question.
Within this flower of a rose A single drop of dew Cascades its fount, and now are tears Cried for the man she knew. Dainty lashes - wet with tears Emotion over flows Her heaving bosom ; - dare no one say That moss about her grows. Too soo
This poem was originally written for a dear friend of mine after several personal discussions with him regarding his particular challenges at the time. Jim was, and still is an incredible person....his legacy will live on forever, and his extremely strong testimony of our Dear Saviour Jesus Christ has all but ensured his well-being eternally. God bless you my dear brother, you have been an amazing friend to me and so many others here. You will be severely missed.
A song I wrote a while back, here is link, you can hear it Thanks http://www.facebook.com/pages/Marcus-Goodman/96514953310

My grandaughter. A heart the size of Texas in the smallest package.
Told to me by my love who'll be spending the weekend with me next week.
She'll know...
She'll know...
I wrote this poem for someone I had been seeing for 3 months. I wasn't sure what direction the relationship was going in and I just wanted him to know that if it lasted for awhile or forever, it made me smile when I thought of him and wondered if he felt the same way.

Dedicated to My Sister, who is a Prominent Porcelain Doll Maker. She is in a Battle with Breast Cancer right now. This one is for her! It Honors Her Talents as a Doll Maker!
This poem is about the things people tell themselves, to keep from getting close to other people..........
I look out the window see snowflakes. Like ballerinas dancing to inaudible music. People wrapped in colorful scarves wandering through the streets of the city. They go to homes to warm hands in the bonfire of love. I look out the window m
