All They Can Say

He thought one day it would stop but the harassment never ends
After many years have gone by no one wants to say
Why they still hate this man

Many view him as simple minded just a gullible soul
He keeps on being kind
They keep on being cold

Perhaps it was long ago around 2004 when he fell in love with a girl
And here in this small world people still find ways to put him to shame
And since his IQ is low and theirs is high his words are all in vain

What is there for him tomorrow
For in every turn of every road a sign is waiting to be sad
And all those who hate him all they can say is too bad

Waiting...

I was waiting for my time to come, to rest my weary head
And looked upon the things I’ve done, and never looked ahead
To times to come, when days are done, when we lie alone in bed
What does it mean, this life alone, when all is done and said.

Creatures of Grey Matter

By Wayne Palesado

The urban face stains the vision in it's haze.
Beings rotting in their shoes of fashion.
The eerie Dragon creeps underneath this concrete.
Satisfying the hunger that festers in the flesh.
Reek of yesterday's embrace as you live in the sun's jungle.
Imagining destiny lost as institutions of passing penetrate the mental state.
Choosing the road to struggle in reality labeled Blue collar.
This endless journey of memories faded.
Awakens the beast who whispers the echoes of regret.
The creeping fear of a future not desired.

About this poem:
To put it simply it is about missed opportunity and being reminded about it within the city's surroundings.

294 simple words

*
**
******

(people) : beside eachother, and you are closer to me, than my own shadow ..
***
we walk quitely, side by side, on streets corners ..
***
we hear easily, melody of eachother's steps..
***
but, what a painful, it is, i and you, are unable to hear the silent screams of each other..
why ?.. my unanswered question.........
**
you and I - we are so close to each other - but our hearts, are miles and miles far from each other..
**
Ah my tears, creating a cover, between me and my endless words..

The Waiting Place…….for people just waiting.

.

Waiting for a train to go

or a bus to come, or a plane to go

or the mail to come, or the rain to go

or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow

or waiting around for a Yes or No

or waiting for their hair to grow.

Everyone is just waiting.

Waiting for the fish to bite

or waiting for wind to fly a kite

or waiting around for Friday night

or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake

or a pot to boil, or a Better Break

or a string of pearls, or a pair of pants

or a wig with curls, or Another Chance

Everyone is just waiting.”

yesterday's sorrow

sometimes I'm amazed
at how stale and stubborn
I have become
and even out of sync with time
but then since you left
I don't have any reason
to keep track of moment
that comes and goes

I din't even know
summer is gone
fall, too, is now buried
deep in the snow
somehow I am anticipating
the new birth of tomorrow
but here I am still nursing
in my yesterday's sorrow

I am never wishing
that our past would come back
hell no!
it's just that I wish
the wound heals
and my mind forgets
all these pains and heartaches

and I will be in sync
with the world and time
again..like it used to be
before I met you.

Dreams and tears

I'm swimming in
A sea of dreams
And an ocean of tears,
Knowing they are not real.
I live but do not feel it.
I look towards my future
But do not see it.
Maybe
I'm just tired
Or my time has expired...
Apparently
I fell heavily.
I have to stand up
And go further,
Do i have a hope?
Maybe i wilI find a treasure?
But I cannot see
The road....

Life

It's a long journey
And a hard fate.
There is no elevator going back.
Falls and take-offs again!
I play my life
Like plaing music notes.
I never stop by staircases
And floors.
Only one way ticket.
There is no choice,
Questions and answers.
Who drew a line of fate
On my hand?
And why does it lead me to you ?
I will reach the clouds on foot.
Only that stage from now
Seems to be very difficult.....

The Poetry Of This Time

A prisoner in my home but out my window I have a view
And the boundaries of the mountains surround me
I'm ok for awhile and then I am blue

I try to express the way I feel and yet the poetry of this time
I conceal for I can't break the boundaries
Not with rhythm or rhyme

I see the birds as they fly and the freedom
Of the power lines going on and on
The poetry of this time says bye as the last word is gone

THE BATTLE

I think then I wonder,
I wonder then I know,
I understand then I see,
I accept then I grow,

I love then I cry,
I laugh then I sorrow,
Only live for today,
Could be no tomorrow,

I sing then I dance,
I gaze into the sun,
I yearn deeply for wisdom,
Is The Battle ever won?

Says my soul to my heart,
"This thing must end",
Says my will to my longing,
"No. It must surely begin",

Fiercely I fight The Battle,
I stand here all alone,
No one cries for me,
Nowhere to call home.

About this poem:
From my youth I've tried to understand us Earthlings and our thought processes. But most times I feel I'm about the only one who gives a damn.
Just can't find my Tribe.
