Come Back Here With Me

Why have you disappeared,
see you're gone, though you're here.
It looks so dark in there,
what you see makes you scared.

Please can I just wake you up,
you look so terrified to me,
the door to your mind is shut.
Can I please just wake you up.

Your presence, crawls back in,
hurts when you, aren't with me.
You become, a blank canvas,
please come back, here with me.

Why do you go away,
to that far away place.
The torture shows on your face,
your chest shows your hearts at race.

What to do, what to do,
you won't let me help you.
Why won't you, why won't you,
won't you let me wake you.
I need you, I need you,
so just let me wake you.

About this poem:
About being with someone who constantly disappears within their own mind. They're there and yet not there.

If only...

If a petal,
was a portal,
going back in time...

If a leaf,
was undoing,
a really stupid choice...

If a stem,
was the words,
im truly deeply sorry...

Then I'd give you a flower, so you could forgive me.

The forgotten

I took my phone and rang today
To see how your time goes
A dead tone is all I received
Just why, nobody knows.

Had you just changed your number
Or forgot to charge your phone
Or maybe it was broken
Which is why I got that tone

I went around to try your house
I knocked upon the door
I didn't get an answer
So I tried a few times more

I stood there waiting, hoping
That the door would open wide
And I would see your smiling face
And then we'd go inside

But still I stood there, lost in thought
For what felt like an age
Just pondering on what was wrong
My brain could not engage

I tried to ring some close friends
Hoping they could tell me why
They said they hadn't got a clue
As so much time passed by

I went into the council
And i asked what could be wrong
They told me that the house had been
Lying idle for so long

The last person to live there
passed away so long ago
And they had not seen family
Or anyone they'd know

That's when it really hit me
How much time that there had been
Since I had even rang them
Or just visited the scene

I paid a visit to their plot
To pay my last respect
And found it vastly overgrown
Completely Derelict

It's very easy to forget
With what we all go through
But people falling through the cracks
of life is nothing new.

The moral of the story is that
everybody dies
But don't forget they also live
Try keep alive those ties

Hearts Throb

Pensive thoughts,vacant dreams
No memories
Blown away like fallen leaves
to lie dead and forgotten
Selfishness,ego of another
Strikes at the penury of the heart
Depriving her freedom
Keeping her tethered to vows
While she wilts day by day.

Obese

They say fat a**, They call me round
They say I block the sun
They say I eat more than my share
I'm far too big to run

They say that I could kill a man
By sitting on his lap
That I look like an elephant
My body fills a map

They say the scales I use will break
And chairs will all go crash.
I jump into a swimming pool
And get the biggest splash

They say they won't make clothes my size
Unless a tent they use
A full cow worth of leather
Just to make a pair of shoes

They do not say how good I am
They don't see how I care
They don't see what they do can cause
I don't think they're aware

They don't see the depression
The anxiety or pain
The tears we have to try hold back
Some people go insane.

They don't see that we stay inside
Afraid to leave the room
They don't see what the future holds
The misery and gloom.

They don't see dying all alone
In coffins that are big
And buried in the massive holes
machines were hired to dig.

Trust

I haven't told you a lie
Yet you continue to spy
I don't know why
I thought it would be you and me
Now I see that might not ever be
You will never trust me
I'm sorry that you got hurt
I'm not the one who hurt you
Why should I pay the price
I've been nothing but nice
Yet you don't trust me
No matter what I say or do
It always comes back to the lack of trust
Could it be you're the one doing wrong
Who wants a man who spies
The trust is gone
Care to dance
This might very well be our last song
After this you might be gone

Do you know?

Do you know what sound my heart made
when you ripped it out?
It echoed like a pin drop
cold silence chilled the ground.

Do you know exactly how i felt
when you said goodbye?
The frost embraced my pain filled soul
and tears welled up my eyes.

Do you know I'll never be the same
because of all your lies?
How will i love or trust again
when I'm as cold, as cold, as ice?

untitled

Who cares, who wonders who wishes away the days,
what will be done in different ways,
How fear of loss creeps through the mind,
until the day you cannot find.

I'd never wish a life be born,
the trouble brought by meaningful scorn,
what did I do,
what Karma fell,
life can be Heaven
and also Hell.

Each day a question,
unsolved with sense,
each night is tension,
the dark is dense.

Awake, awake
each morn with light,
for my own sake,
make clear the sight.

The Leaving Time

Through the tangled branches,
I see the hues of scottish tartan hills...
I see the hints of sunlit fingers reaching
this dark forest floor.

They stroke my cold body,
warming me...
deliberate and steadfast,
the darkness becomes less so.

I am leaving this place now...
where i hid from myself,
and where I hid from you -
walking, but not running...
glancing back but once.

I leave.

set in stone

Marble eye of granite stone
Engrained features
Vains in stone
She
Stands aloft
On pyramides high
Gazes down
On commers low
Deathly gaze
Set in stone
For once
Was a block of stone
Now carve
A body for all to see
Imortalized
Now set in stone
