Oh, I dread farewell long before it is bade,
It is felt as a sting, shows as mark on the face,
Feels as pain in the eyes, in the quiver of voice,
Oh, I dread farewell, wish we never have met.

If we meet any time I shall stop on my way
And pretend I am well, make a showy display.
Ask about your life, show a real concern,
You may think with regret I have come to myself.

After parting with you I will stop for a while
To recover my breath, to consider awhile,
Check myself on the point not to follow your steps,
Oh, I dread farewell long before it is bade.

Though I'll never know
the joy of your
love
Though I pine away
my years in
lonliness
Though the hope
of you is but
an old mans
dream
And though the
tears I cried
are buried in
the vault of
eternity..
I will still
love you~

You don't get paid for broken dreams
You don't find your way alone
Life is filled with many things
And chances come and go and gone

Some get the brass ring
Some grab the bull by the horn
Life is filled with many things
And they start on the day you were born

Time keeps running and then you get old
And you feel like something is wrong
Somewhere along the way were you never told
Chances come and go and gone

Is it not
a line
that you draw
when you blindly ignore
the pleading
that resides
deep within your mind
that has a dieing need
to touch
the fear
that you keep
when you sleep
with the hidden thoughts
that weep

Do they not know~
These insensitive men~
Just how deeply their words
Pierce our very hearts and souls?

Do they not think?
Do they not know?
Do they not care?
That their words~
Uttered in such a glib manner,
Sometimes even followed by a chuckle,
Have hurt us so deeply.

They say things~
Warm and tender and loving things;
And then,
When we respond accordingly~
With love and caring and tenderness~
They shoot us down.

They say it was our imaginations.
They say their words were not real.
They say it was just a fantasy.

Do they not know
Or do they just not care
That their words break our hearts
And make us fearful of them~
Make us insecure about their feelings
For us?

Do they not realize
How much pain they cause us
And how many tears are shed
Because they are oblivious
To our needs?

Do they not know how badly
We crave security
In the knowledge
That they truly care?

Do they not know~
Or do they just not care?

It is hard
to watch a friend
walking the path
of a fragmented mind
while sitting here
on this beach
of sorrow
gazing out
onto a sea
of my tears
watching someone
who has become
more than a friend
walk the path
alone

YOU MAKE TENENTS LIVES MISERABLE; AND TEAR FAMILIES IN TWO! BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT THE HEAVENLY FATHER WILL STRIKE; WHEN YOUR RENT IS DUE! HE NEVER SLEEPS , AND IS TOTALING UP YOUR CRIMES; JUST A FEW ACTS OF KINDNESS WOULD HAVE SAVED YOU FROM HELLISCIOUS TIMES; BUT YOU CHOSE TO IGNORE THE CRIES OF PEOPLE JUST WANTING A DECENT HOME, TO RAISE THEIR CHILDREN SO THEY THEY"LL NEVER HAVE TO ROAM! YOU ARE LAUGHING RIGHT NOW,FOR YOU THINK YOU"VE DONE THEM IN;BUT IN A SHORT TIME, HE WILL COME FOR YOU; AND YOU CAN PLEAD YOUR CASE; BUT YOU SHALL NEVER WIN!

How many times
have you promised
how many times
have you said
as you once again
look down
on a child
battered and beaten
laying there
on the kitchen floor
trying to protect a mummy
who doesn't want
to be hurt
anymore

Life has been taxing, painful and rough
Seems like the hard times are never enough

But through all disparity, I have the dream
That my searching will find me someone I need

I don't need a model, I don't want a saint
I do not wish for more friends to acquaint

There must be someone who can see through my eyes
Feel from my heart, and hear when I cry

Laugh when it's needed, smile when it's great
Craves my desire to keep you safe

Arms wrapped around you, your body, your soul
There's no room for emptiness, I'll keep you full

Days are so wasted when I'm all on my own
Without her the house is not quite a home

Wherever you are, my salvation, my world
I hope that you're out there...my completion, my girl.

THEY USED TO ROAM THE LAND, PROUD AND FREE, UNTIL HUNTERS DECIDED THEY WOULD MAKE A GREAT TROPHY! HAVN"T WE LEARNED FROM ANYTHING YET? THE NEXT SPECIES TO GO ON THE LIST IS ANYONES BET! I SALUTE YOU RHINOS AND I"M SURE THAT ON THE OTHER SIDE, YOU WILL HAVE TONS OF LAND IN WHICH TO GRAZE, AND THE LORD SHALL MULTIPLY YOUR LOVING HERD AND FOREVER REMOVE THE WALL OF HAZE!
