Call It A Day......

I tried to be honest but my words got in the way must of been something I was trying to say not that it would matter any way up all night is the price I pay feeling lonely in my own way shadows chasing the light away no charming words in my vocabulary today not feeling sorry for my self I wish i was right but like a kite in the wind with out a tail between my legs it's time to bail an bound to fail these tides of times well never unveil what ya say say we call it a day

Alone

Lost and lonely
Heart is empty
Roams the streets
Looking for peace
Will to live is slowly dying
I begin to pray
Oh God please forgive me my sins
Light the way
Forever in my heart you shall remain

Feelings

Tear drops running down our checks

like a gentle rain falling from above

Why do we shed our tears from our eyes

Its our feelings we can't hold inside

falling, falling we can't hold them back

We share those heartbreaks for all to see

Just letting it all go gently falling down, down

We helpless to stop and can't hold them back

Its always feels good as we let those feelings go

We just can't hold them inside anymore

When the tears stop the smiles return

and our eyes will twinkle again

i cant belive

I can’t believe
I can’t believe you would turn out like the rest
Here’s me thinking it’s a shame u never knew what’s best
You played with my heart and my emotions and feelings
You played me like a fool and now my heart will start its healing

You made a promise that you won’t leave me
Now I know you didn’t care nor did u want us to be
You could have had a heart to say why what you did
Now u have so much hate for u don’t treat me like a kid

You gave me hope for a better life for you and me
You couldn’t help it you couldn’t just tell me let it be
Id tried my best to make it right for us tried my best
Now I’ll never forgive you may Ur soul be at rest

You never knew what real love felt like nor did you care
I hope you love Ur life in pain heartache and in fear
I have been such a fool to believe that you were the one
I believe you didn’t care about my feelings or what you have done

I gave you my heart for you but you stomped it on the ground
I hope I never get to see you not here or now or around
You do what’s best for you and think what you have done
Deep in your heart I hope you can live that you hurt the one

I’ll never forgive you I can do better this time round
No matter where I am or where I go I’ll never be down
I’ll think forward to the place where I want to go and be
I’m better off without you now I’ll find someone who will love me.

Broken

I found this
Broken on the ground
You must not want it
If you leave it laying around

It's in pretty bad shape
It's been kicked and trampled
Maybe it was just
Something you sampled

It's missing some pieces
I don't think it can be repaired
You shouldn't have taken it
If you never cared

They're not easy to fix
Some can't be at all
No matter what you do
Or who you call

You have to be careful
For these are very frail
Breaking them is a crime
Although you won't go to jail

Some people give theirs away
Without a pause
They don't think about
The pain it could cause

They can go on living
But they might never heal
From mistaking a game
For something they thought was real

I guess I'm one of those
Who made that same mistake
I still haven't learned
What's real and what's fake

Although you've damaged it
I guess I'll take it back
Since an interest in it
You obviously lack

So I'll leave you alone
And try to make a new start
Even without the missing pieces
Of this broken heart

IT USED TO BE, THAT YOU PLAYED, FOR LOVE OF THE GAME; NOW, IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY; AND I FIND THAT, RATHER LAME! PEOPLE LIKE LEBRON, COULD CARE LESS, ABOUT; YOU OR ME! WE COULD DIE, IN THE STANDS, AND WE WOULD JUST BE, ONE OF THE FANS! LONG AGO, I HEAR; THERE WAS A TEAM, CALLED; THE BROOKLYN BUMS! THEY WEREN'T INTERESTED IN RATINGS; OR MONETARY SUMS! JUST THE LOVE OF THE GAME; AND FANS LIKE YOU AND ME! MY, HOW THE GAME OF PRO SPORTS; HAS TURNED INTO GREED; AND THAT IS THE WORST; A TRAGEDY; FOR YOU, AND ME!

The Time Say Goodbye Is Hardest

The idea of forever is kind of ridiculous, which is unfortunate because it's kind of a nice thing to say, you know. I think it softens the blow of mortality and having to say goodbye to everything you know and everyone you love and all that kind of thing. Quote - Conor Oberst

The time to say goodbye is hardest
When countless strength expires
And hours fades into nothingness
You're left in a womb of pain
At the realm of hope's decrease.
The shadows loom above the ceiling
The sun wafts in its last light
The hands of death parades the room
From the vacant isles pulsed with silence
The sirens echoes from the distant
The death bells like a heron sounds
This unimaginable pain leaves me breathless
The windows quivers, iced up with dew
Slow - breath replays , in constant days of dread
I've longed for peace in the darkness
Thro' pain's increase, memories recite
The dead yesterdays of joys sweet.

The time to say goodbye is hardest
I long to smell the ever green grass again
And to hear the language of the seas
Once more in the mezmerizing moment, of the
Ever changeless sun on the realm of heaven
To breathe the free mist of the mystic flowers
To run with the winds, and to feel its warm pulse
In all the earth aglowed with spring
This feeling overwhelms me
To hear my father's voice again, across
The deep quietude of the ever dreamy river.

The time to say goodbye is hardest
The battling days are long
The nights grow cold and weary
Nothing matters but this one necessity
To breathe free again
Oh to breathe free again
The sweet air undisturbed
To be liberated from this long drawn pain
This flourishing sickness unabated
That has graced me for so long.

The time to say goodbye is hardest
The colour of the room is soft
Soft as the song bird's sweet cheer
Perhaps my thoughts draws me back
To the voice of violins and entralling
Blisses 'neath moon's silk hush to breath's delight
To think that I'd favor here than home
Death than the splendor of life
Is but a sordid insanity.
A freshly home cooked meal
Times spent with friends and family
The joyful laughters
The hugs , the endless kisses
Its sobriety enskies
this languid heart of mines.

The time to say goodbye is hardest
My eyes are wet with fresh remorse
The drips are coursing thro' my veins
The injection leaves me weary
I'm a soldier in this war
How often have I died
How often have I clung
To a strand of breath and hope
But as I look back
On the splendor of all my life
My heart would spring
A ceaseless smile
Thro' the valleys of my pain
Whilst my fervent prayers ascend
To a distant sky, relinquished
Of its glow, then so suddenly
I'm at peace in life's carousel.

About this poem:
A near death experience hospitalised has inspired this poem. A pretty tough way to start the year uh. Ive met up with some incredible persons in there who was kind enough to share their experiences with me. One of them unfortunately passed away. The point is when you think that your problems in life is terrible theres always someone out there to top yours. So cherish and appreciate your blessings as small as they may be and live life to the full because one day you may never get that second chance.
Thanks for perusing my poem.

Sad and happy

One day I was sad and I went to bed because I wanted to stay sad for the day,

I didnt go to work and I lost pay.

I rang up sick and they said it was okay,

Yes it is okay to be sad

If you stay sad tho that is bad.

For you ,

Talk and share with someone to listen.

Give yourself a chance to glisten.

While you were sleeping the sky was weeping,

The dark clouds hovered over your head,

Your isolation was spent in bed.

Till one day a birds wing flapped against the pane of glass

You managed to pull yourself out of bed,

As the bird lay still you thought it was dead,

Now the bird lay in your delicate hand

You were it's saviour and the bird was yours too,

It made you forget about you,

It's wing was broken

Without a word spoken

You knew you were both on the mend,

And so only the nights in bed you did spend,

The saddness came to pass as you sat on the grass as the little bird flew up onto the roof then flew away as you waved it goodbye,

Some days you cry

But then you look to the sky

And think of the little bird,

A fleeting moment of happiness is getting better every day,

A Poem By Gina H

I can only imagine how I make you feel
When my heart ache pours all over you
My pain outbursts
I am toxic
My venom is deep
My heart feels no love
My eye’s can’t see that light
at the end of the tunnel
And all I want
Is your love
Is your arms wrapped around me
And you telling me everything will be ok
But I push you away
That venom is too deep
I walk away
My heart feels no love
My trust is broken
All the mistakes I’ve made
All the people I gave my heart too
All the people who took it and crushed it
I pile that on you
The only person in this world that matters the most
Pushing you further and further away
I am breaking
My soul is aching
My love is vanishing into dust
With nothing else to comfort me
I throw everything away
And to my surprise
You are standing there

Around the Magnificent Mile

It was just
a burning building
my sweetheart.
We are still here.
Darling, we have still got each other,
don't you see?

Brushing his forehead as he
sweats in his sleep.
