RE: Have You Laws In Your Country That

As you know each state has there own laws. Ever since they legalized Marijuana it has changed a lot over here. But a lot of people do not realize that all over the USA each state is different and you have to sometimes be aware of the laws or you get in trouble.

RE: Have You Laws In Your Country That

Here in Oregon it is a law they you have to wear a helmet if you are on a Motorbike. For cyclists I think it is only mandatory for under 18....but I wear one anyways.

RE: About the Demise of A Species

Maybe I missed it (didn't see it mentioned) but the one "animal" that seems to be on the demise yet somehow at the same time appears to be thriving is the "homosapien" which happens to be the only species "hominid" left of the genus "Homo". So, what if "we" are like the Dinosaurs of long ago and simply on the way out as we might as well be as large as those Dinosaurs and bigger than we are in ways that one might think yet becoming so clumsy and arrogant that we end up being wiped from existence because of all the weaknesses we have hidden behind our thick skin and puny intellect.

RE: International Women's Day

Someone earlier mentioned something about the origin and where "International Women's Day" is recognized. I decided to post a link that has a bit of history.

But mainly I wish to send all the Best to All Women around the World, "Young and Old", All the Best on International Women's Day!

RE: Finally, Deportation of migrants

Not too long and very well put. Too many people all over the World are trying to compare what has happened in the past in what is happening today. It is not the same (as you point out) and not only the reasons but the Attitudes and the motivations to convert the people in which they are basically "invading" is sickening. And for those that are not trying to "use" in conversion "they" are using other ways to undermine the beliefs and ideals of "others" as though they have no right to stand tall on their own front yard. Great Post Gloss thumbs up

RE: Should Trump move his own business interests and money back to America too?

Maybe he will to some degree. But it is pretty funny to read you comparing yourself to him, "financially" laugh

And the other laugh is the wrinkly old grape that never made it to the wine cellar so just sits in the dust soaking up as much spirits to create some deluded sense of "reality" and mold it into a wobbly bit of a personality. barf

RE: Does SEAL's Dad deserve an investigation?

interesting, Now he is seeing them all the time. day in and I think at night as well. I just had to ask when I saw you were in Hawaii. I have never been. Well, thanks for the input. I appreciate it.

RE: Does SEAL's Dad deserve an investigation?

I am curious. Have you ever seen a UFO? I mean while in Hawaii.

I know a person that lives on Maui and he says he sees them a lot. He kept hounding me to look them up on the internet but I didn't really feel I could be much help as I have not seen one. Just curious.

RE: Who is not happy in the country which they now live in?

And then there is the full meal deal. lol

Now that they have legalized Marijuana for both Medical and Recreational use in Oregon these photos of incredibly dense "Buds" are pretty common. A lot of people come here just for the "Green". (personally it is not my interest, but there are some very incredible crops no doubt)

RE: Say Anything IV

I used to be one to climb the superstructures of certain Railroad Bridges that often had absolutely no handholds or guardrails. I was pretty young at the time and I really pushed the limits. our classmates even lost a few that fell from these tall steel bridges. Today I would not dream of taking those steps or climbing the old wooden ladder that even 40 years ago had a few rungs completely missing and a few areas where they were rotten.

You can see in this pic where the engine is just to the center of the bridge. (there is a place under the tracks on top of the large concrete pillar where we would hide out when the trains came. But I used to also go up top where the arch is and we would sit up there with a "shortcase" of Bud. (many years ago)

This second view is from further away and gives you an idea of the length and height. But what is not visible is the Wooden part that on the "right" east side goes for about the same length but has a curve. That wooden part is over the land and was actually much scarier as there were less places to go if a train came and even if you were strong enough to hang off the side by your hands it would shake like crazy and usually these were long trains full of all kinds of scrap metal or other products. On the West side was a shorter Wooden part and then the other town. for one year in high school back in the 70's I crossed this every morning and hitchhiked up to school in platforms and bellbottom jeans. lol. no kidding.

But even though I did this back then I still get the shivers looking at that larger one you posted there above! ;-}

RE: looking for information

In looking at my Blogs or other areas that I have not used for a long time I think that I must have lost some photos that used to be saved for putting in a blog (which at this time I have no blogs)... but maybe I am confusing it with something else....I know it was not Poems, or anything that I can see at this time. I guess I did not realize with the new format of the site some things were changed much more than I thought. It looks like I will be "looking for information" that may not be there.

RE: what makes you feel part of the human race?

I never really felt like I "was", > "these days" I don't see how it really makes much of a difference, not really that much to give it much thought. But how about yourself Pedro? Do you think about it much?

RE: Obama's Ban vs Trump's Ban Big Difference

You couldn't possibly come to a conclusion like that now could ya? Say it isn't true. laugh

RE: Wish Me Luck!

Always happy when things work out in a positive way. Still hoping you will get what you are reaching for!

Do You have "Music" in your day to day Life?

I suppose this could have been a "poll", but that seemed a bit to critical or something like that, But just curious how many members here not only "listen" to music but possibly play an instrument or "sing". Even if it is when no one is around. I know that for me I feel much better or relxed when I take the time to pick up the guitar or warm up the "Synth" for some time just to create some music. Even if I go and play the drums for bit it seems to be rewarding. Anyone? No reason to be shy,,,not asking anyone to play a tune.....you can if you wish though. ;-}

RE: More gun control in the USA

I never spent too much time out on the "farm" so I never had a lot time getting to know the different Shotguns and so on. I recently was with a buddy of mine that was shopping for a new Shotgun so I went along and was really amazed at how many different kinds and options they have. Obviously some are built for home defense and others for those that like to go out hunting. I also was surprised how inexpensive a very reliable "shorter" style, (for Home defense) costs. Of course the price goes up pretty fast when they are Semi Automatic (and longer barrel) instead of the pump style. It was interesting listening to the man talk about the "sound" of a Pump shotgun in that the "sound" of that first "Pump" is very familiar to a lot of would be criminals and that the sound alone many times will motivate someone to get the heck out of dodge. Anyways, always something new it seems...maybe not to everyone but for me, and maybe others that are older than we used to be. I find it is interesting that there always seems to be something "new" and that if we choose to that we can always learn new things and maybe even see how other people live and why they might make some of the choices they make. I didn't get one but I did find it all very interesting. I think if I would have grown up out on the farm I probably would have learned all this stuff when I was very young. I have some friends that moved here from the midwest that not only shooting both rifles and handguns were just part of life but also flying planes to take care of the crops and so on. Just a entirely different world but still here in the USA. I would not be surprised if there are similar lifestyles all over the world that people grew up responsibly with things that unfortunately others choose to use for purposes that are not acceptable. I also think that it is also a loss that many people don't seem to have been taught to show a respect or just a common courtesy to many times the people that might live right next door. Well, all this is probably off the topic but I haven't really posted much lately and thought I would go ahead and share that story.

Be safe. Be Kind. Take a deep breath and poor yourself a nice glass of water.

USA Members

Hi Ano,

I try to always hope for the best, even when there are many that seem to try and continue to perpetuate discord. I am glad to meet you. I only wish that I was a little closer to the area that you reside, I am sure that you bring a lot of happiness to all those that are fortunate to be in your presence.

Just too young, and very sad. And as others have mentioned, many Celebrities, Musicians and in my case both friends and family have been lost in this last year and the one before as well.

I can only say I hope they are somehow in a very special place wherever that may be and that the finality that we here experience is not the entire scope of reality.
