This is meant with the purest of intentions Maverlin...I think that you are dancing on the edge of sanity and I hope with all of my heart that you can maintain your balance. If you slip in the smallest degree you may find yourself in need of treatment and I encourage you to seek help along that line so that when you need it, it will be there. You show a high degree of intelligence and sometimes it comes with a price that only medication can treat. Be brave and know that we care about you and only want what is best for you.

That might be your experience buddy but not mine...sounds like you play games with your emotions and that's a big taboo for most people. Try being real and honest and you might be surprised with the result

Just be careful true...I once saw a couple of the neighbourhood kids take the hands (one on either side) of the neighbourhood drunk as he emerged from the local bar and he thought it was so sweet until they held on tight and ran him right down into the lake

my favorite toy was my imagination, with it I could explore the universe or be a pirate or whatever I could dream up (and with a scrap wood pile close at hand I could make anything I wanted to go along with my imagination)
now my toys are numerous (5 motorcycles, 3 boats, three trucks, a bmw and a motorhome and more tools than I can count) but I probably play with my computer the most

I don't know where you get your information from (I'm thinking it's more opinion than fact) as there are approximately 31 countries in the world that drive on the left and more than twice that drive on the right (just google it). Most people in the civilized world don't think in terms of gunfire and driving but I guess we are a tad more law abiding than you have experienced

I do believe that "most" of the countries in the world drive on the right hand side of the road so it may apply in the United Kingdom but not everywhere.

Because that's the side the sidestand is mounted on so the bike (in my case motorcycle) is leaning in that direction to begin with so swing the leg over and pick it up off the sidestand.

Actually we are held together by reincarnation and karma (to work out past karmic debts) so every new lifetime is a continuation of past lives, only we take on different roles in the family or relationship. So what appears to be a different family is really just the same one with different faces

I agree totally...cut the politeness (that only applies for those who don't take advantage of you) and be open and honest. You'll feel much better for having stood up for yourself and they will understand their place in the scheme of things. Tell them you loved seeing them but would like them to continue their vacation at some one else's expense.

Just speaking from personal experience...having a colleague with the disorder is a long way from being married to one. But I have said my two cents worth and will leave the floor open to others now.

I agree but for those who suffer from this maybe can cut them some slack as it may be helpful for them to get the opinion and empathy of others. It might also offer them a daily connection and hope for a better day.

Are you bipolar Pedro? If so I understand that the low is as low as the mania is high. Not a disorder for those with a weak heart...a tough row to hoe. The medications available help but the complaint is that it's like having a chemical lobotomy in that you don't feel the highs but also don't feel the lows. Most stop taking their meds and that is dangerous for everyone as this disorder has led to homicide (psychotic break/mania) but more commonly suicide(depression). It's tough on those that love you too as they feel helpless.

When I feel love for someone it isn't contingent on their even feeling love for me so if they don't say it or feel it, I still love them. I have learned that when I love it is unconditional and that's the best kind. I have however learned that saying it too early in a relationship can make the object of your affections feel a little uncomfortable or pressured and it's nice to kind of let it grow slowly (so take your time).

Latest purchase was a dvd on a live concert that I attended a couple of years ago. It's the 40th anniversary of Downchild Blues Band at Massey Hall in Toronto and it was an amazing concert so I decided to buy one off of Amazon. It would sound great on your new headphones or the new tv's recently purchased by some members.

scary huh? I saw a motorcyclist the other day wearing shorts and flip flops and just shook my head in disbelief. Can you imagine having to put your foot down while still moving and phtttttt there it is gone (the flip flop). Just defies logic, he must have a death wish.
Solid foot wear and minimum of jeans (not cutoffs) are just common sense.
