Exactly what it says...if you don't forgive then the past has you in it's grip and you won't be free from it to move into the present until you forgive the person who wronged you (or you perceived wronged you) Forgiveness isn't about the other person, it is to set YOU free. Nothing in the past can change...it was what it was.
I don't feel guilty in the least and here in Canada we have lots of room for all of the deer and moose and bear....right beside the mashed potatoes. I didn't get to the top of the food chain to wonder how my meal felt about giving up its life to sustain mine, it's a fact of life that we are carnavors and meat in proper proportions is good for us.
Ted Nugent who is an avid hunter summed it up pretty good when he was interviewed by a French jounalist. When asked if he thought the last thing on a deer's mind was just before it was shot was "are you the hunter that killed my brother"? he replied...Deer don't have the thinking processes that we have as humans but if it did it would probably think where am I going to get my next meal from and who am I going to screw next...much like the French (the interview ended immediately)
There is no good day for this but Valentines has to be one of the worst days to be dumped...sorry for your pain but I am hoping that better things are ahead for you.
The sentiment for Valentine's day is kinda kewl but have you ever tried going out for dinner on that day. I did once and it was such a disaster (the restaurant had a shortened menu and there was two seatings for dinner...talk about rushed and unromantic). I'd much rather do something quiet and private.
No but I'd love to go to New Orleans which is where the Neville family grew up. A tremendously musical family and I believe that New Orleans is the home of the blues. I wouldn't have thought that Woody Allen could get in to other countries to play with his blues band
By the sounds of it the texting option will work very well for you once you get the hang of it. Being a little hard of hearing must be annoying but it is very important to keep the communication lines open. I for one like to talk to my significant other daily as it lets her know that I care very much about her and shows my support of her emotionally. It won't be an issue shortly as we are moving into the next phase of our relationship and combining households. Just do what you feel comfortable with.
If the reason for ending the relationship was truly insurmountable then it was the only decision to make. It doesn't alter the fact the you love the person but it does make the relationship impossible. In that case my feelings wouldn't alter or diminish but it would have to fall under the heading of "too bad, so sad" as I would want my loved one to have the best chance at a full and fulfilling relationship. When I love it is forever and unconditional but reality can put up barriers where it is better to be a loving memory than a unworkable reality. A sad situation but still a loving one. Best of luck
Beware the ides of March...if it did, I for one wouldn't miss it. Actually I am only on there about once every six months and don't trust the site. Too many personal info issues.
It's not just the healing process (that is pretty quick) but those puppies will need to be massaged vigorously for the first little while to keep them supple or they tend to remain fairly hard. Or so I've heard
shoot pool, play card games etc...oh yeah I also read and don't answer my spam mail from all of the gorgeous (stolen) photos of beautiful women that find me soooo fascinating and don't bother to read my profile to see that I am already in a relationship
I used to complain that I had no shoes...until I met a man who had no feet. It always feels better to walk a mile in someone else's shoes. But I agree with Ginger, if it has a physical reason then no amount of cajoling will affect it. I am grateful for the things I don't have today... I don't have a hangover I don't have to get up and empty the contents of my stomach into the nearest receptacle in order to feel better I don't have to fear when the phone rings that it might be a creditor If this is as good as it gets then that's terrific...but it just keeps on gettin' better
