Hey Guys, I got a weird experience last night. It never happened before. And I certainly don’t want to face it again in the future. Ugh! Where should I start?
Met a friend of mine who just returned from Holy Land. She brought me a very nice travel gift. Isn’t she nice?
We also met couple of friends later to go to the movies together. But as no one had the same interest which movies we were going to watch, we decided to browse the book shop. I bought 3 novels there. Yep, am certainly a novel freak.
Then we went to La Senza. Girls, you know what it is, right? We bought a couple of night gowns for a friend of us who will marry at the end of the month. Lucky guy, indeed.
We had dinner at a Japanese restaurant and there went off, my diet. I ate too much that I might have to stop eating until next week. We met more friends at Cork and Screw, yep it’s certainly the right name. As I cannot drink alcoholic beverage, I ordered light beer, corona.
We had fun, talking about anything until it was really late evening. As I was the sorber person in the group, I was in charge of getting everyone in taxis with instruction to the drivers where they should take my friends. I even put note the taxi’s doors numbers, drivers’ names and their cellular phone numbers. So I was the last person in the group who got in to the taxi.
As it was very late evening, I decided to get off from the taxi at the end of alley near my house residence. It was really dark and no street light. I had to walk as my house is on the other 2 blocks and the alley was too tight for a taxi.
I walked confidently in the dark as I knew the routes and could pass it even my eyes closed. Then I smelled something weird. It was sweet and flowery. Like I was in the garden where every flowers were blooming. Ewww, I was in the middle of dark alley not too far from my house, not in the Butchart Gardens in Victoria!
Then i felt goose bumps on my hands and legs. My legs were so heavy that I couldn’t continue walking. Uh oh, It was the scary time in my life. Fortunately, I could think fast. I prayed and prayed. Hey, am not a religious person but at that time, I was fortunate and I remember all the words. Then I felt my legs were no longer too heavy that I could walk again. Well, I almost sprinted not walked after that.
I still felt the heavy sweet flowery sense near me, though. So when I almost reached home, I spoke confidently (please don’t let it knows am really ... really scared), “ You are not invited here, go back to your place with peace”. Then when I entered my home, I no longer smell any sweet flowery thing. I felt so relieved.
Anyone had the similar experience with me? It’s so weird and I had not had that experience before, I won’t believe it if you tell me so. Am still freak out if I smell something flowery near me!
Am so curious myself that I search at the internet. It might be the witching hour. It is the time when supernatural are thought to appear and be at their most powerful at its most effective. This hour is typically midnight or the "time in the middle of the night when magic things are said to happen." The term may refer to any late hour, even without having the associated superstitious beliefs, as can be seen in the Webster's definition: "The middle of the night, especially midnight."
Alright, it’s clear now. Am going to be a good person, no more going home at midnight, I will just go home in the morning!
