Internet Modem

I disconnected my broadband internet connection few months ago as I found out that the monthly charge was too high. And even if I didn’t use it, I still have to pay that huge charge. I didn’t realise it before as I thought that I forgot to switch off the modem after using it. After 6 months in row and I still dutifully paid the bills, but the charges were too much. I used more my mobile phone lately to check emails and I paid only a fraction.

Then I bought a flash stick modem. I was happy at first as the internet connection was fast and it didn’t cost me much either. But after several months, I noticed that the internet connection becoming too slow and I get offline too many times to count. I even had to top up the credit twice last month.

I bought another flash stick modem from a different provider. I couldn’t find it in the official provider shop, but I got lucky in a small shop next day. It was the last package. Have tried to install the new modem myself, but it didn’t work. I knew am not a computer geek, but geez, why it was so difficult to install a flash stick modem. Read the manual couple times and then I gave up after trying several times with no success. So I still used the slow internet connection flash stick modem. It was slow, for sure, but it works. But yes, I still got offline without am knowing too.

I begged 2 IT staff to assist me in installing my new flash stick modem. They didn’t know it either, so we worked together. And in few minutes, I can browse with fast internet connection. I was so happy. But when I tried it at home, the old flash stick modem ran faster.

I have two flash stick modems now for one computer. The first modem is slow and the second one is slower. Lucky me, indeed!
